[action-- business district: salvage shop and (later) surrounding areas]
[The salvage shop is a frequent stop on Moonbay's travels, earning a visit from her roughly twice a week. Its owner has come to both fear, respect and tolerate her throughout the years, and one could say the feeling is mutual. Arguments over decent prices are often heard during those visits, and today is no exception.
Anyone around the shop, or even out on the street, can most likely hear some shouting, a few choice words more prominent than others.]
Twenty bucks for this piece?! C'mon, I could get more from the guy two streets over-- the one who eats Pokemon food, and he doesn't even know what it is!! Thirty or no deal.
[Similar talks continue for at least another half hour until Moonbay grabs her bag of remainders, pockets a wad of cash, and steps out the door to leave with a wave to the store owner.
Then she finds her rhyhorn missing. Again. With an exasperated sigh, she takes her warp band and begins to speak.]

If anyone's around the business district, specifically the salvage shop, I've got a little issue. My rhyhorn's wandered off [again] and I have no idea which way he went. So if you see a random one nosing through stuff or generally being weirdly social, gimme a call. Name's Moonbay. Damned thing.
I'll be looking myself, so... I guess watch out?

*Imogen sighed, pocketting the minor scrap pays she managed to get. She didn't find enough salvage to need a proper lift crew. She could manage, on her own, in her own time.*
They want to save their coin for when we find the raw ore or a big piece to smelt and sell. No matter how desperate they are, they do get a bit easier to talk to if you windowshop with a cute little thing like this inside their business.
*Next to the multicolored girl, hair in wild tails off buns on her head, was a small Cubchoo with an impressive snot droplet of it's snout. Radiating a huge wave of cold around itself. A great bargaining tool, forcing them to want to deal before you harm their business.*
I'm sure there's good salvage in the old city still, we're just not allowed to get at it.

I've gotten what I need and then some, so save your advice for the rookies. [Pride is a wonderful thing.] This place has seen me around for years.
[She grabs her bag, now almost empty, and swings it over her shoulder, eyeing the cubchoo a little.]

Yes, but at the cost of time, you probably still want that, you could have argued them down faster after they noticed their buyers fear the chill.
If you were a rookie I would have helped instead, no good us working them down if they turn that around to cutprice on the others. They'll pick them over us, and those idiots will hurt everyone's bottom line.
*Imogen is very proud, doesn't mean she's above help or below it. She views the world... atypically. Still, she crossed her arms and eyed the other woman, she seemed a bit two centered in herself.*

Thanks for the explanation of how all this works. I really had no idea. [It's been one of those days, and frankly, Moonbay feels she doesn't have time for what she deems meaningless chatter.]
If you've got anything useful to offer, try again some other time.

*Imogen skips away for about five steps before she pauses, turns, and shouts back.*
Oh wait, one more thing! That Rhyhorn went down market street! That's useful right?
*And then Imogen skips off humming to herself. Sorry, but you should have been nicer, she'd help.*

[However, he so picked the wrong spot as the Rhyhorn has just decided the park bench made a worthy ramming opponent and charges at it.]
[Moonbay if anything the sounds of wood breaking and the scream of a fifteen year old boy as he goes flying might be a good indicator where your Pokemon went]
yup
Well, at least I have an idea of which way he went now... [With a sigh, she figures she might as well do the neighborly thing and check on the kid.]
Oy, you okay? [And her version of 'checking on' consists of her poking at his side with the toe of her boot.]

[But he at least groans and moves slightly when he gets poked! He's alive thank the Savior! Except he's sorta out of it so-]
S-Simba...?

Doesn't make him any less your responsibility though.
[Clearly you should know better by now.]
