Okay, Musashi, you've had your fun. Can I ask everyone for what you actually wanted, now?

[She takes the Warp Band back, Musashi bowing in thanks for allowing him that.]

Aaaanyway, this gentleman here has been expressing interest in evolving, but he can't tell me exactly how Scythers evolve. I don't think they work like most Bug-types or he'd have done it by now, so has anyone else figured this out?

Sounds like he probably needs an item. Does he know what type he evolves into?

He's mentioned becoming a Steel-type, although he was a lot more poetic about it. Something about trading the freedom of flight for the unyielding responsibility of steel or something like that.

Might need a Metal Coat. I'm kind of full up on Engineering projects right now, but if he's willing to wait until the week after next, we could try that. If it doesn't work, there's no charge.

Huh, I never thought of that. I thought that was only useful for Pokémon who were already Steel-types.

It seemed like a logical progression. Y'know, there are some Pokemon that need items to evolve, some of them need to be traded with that item to evolve, the Pokemon in question becomes a Steel-type, oh hey there's an item that only exists to power-up Steel types, maybe that will work. If it doesn't, no harm, no foul.

It's family tradition to give your kids terrible names to ward off any Pokemon that would eat your dreams or drag you to the spirit world.

I'm not even the first Hiccup. I'm the third. You'd think Hiccup Horrendous Haddock I or II would've told them to knock it off, but apparently not.

I haven't been carted off by wild Ghost-types and as far as I can tell my dreams haven't been either, but that's not really proof it actually worked. I mean, it's not like either of those happen very often to begin with.

[He'd heard that Eevees evolve all kinds of ways. What had Musashi tried??]

[Musashi grumbles and Scy's out that he's tried simply growing in power, but he's certain that - like an Eevee - he needs a more complicated method. He's seen stronger Scythers than himself and, indeed, most Bug-types evolve at least once before reaching even the level he's at now.]

[He hasn't tried that one...it's possible. From what he knows Dawn Stones generally make a Pokémon more ~elegant~, and he likes to think of his fighting style as thus.]

[Eros perked his ears up. Maybe Musashi could borrow Minako's stone! Eros had no idea how these stones worked, though...]

[Generally, a Pokémon reacts to a compatible stone when it's in close proximity. This causes the stone to disappear, though, so borrowing is not really possible.]

[Musashi may have been reading Rise's old, ignored textbooks.]

[Ohh... disappeared was bad. Eros put the stone to the side. Not a good idea, then. At least, not with this one.

Maybe your trainer could find a good stone for you!]
