Alright, listen.... why does this one [ lifting the newly bonded deino ] keep trying to bite this one [ lowering the deino and lifting the axew. ]

--because I'm not putting up with anymore biting.

[ The smaller dragon coos, Axew whining as the other Pokemon nips in his direction. ]

Anybody know? [ Asch, the man of few words... he doesn't like asking for help but for the sake of these two Pokemon he can't seem to let his stubbornness affect someone's life-- that life being the tiny little Axew. ]

They're Dark/Dragon types, have Hustle as their Ability, ram things almost as often as they bite them, and they'll eat pretty much anything.

... Intresting. [ Abilities much really matter with Pokemon, Asch doesn't really know how you're supposed to figure them out. ] So it's only natural?

He'll bite Axew but turn around and sit with my Arcanine just fine.

Maye he's just learned not to. Arcanine's a Fire-type It's entirely possible your Deino bit them when you weren't looking and burned his tongue.

Or it's trying to establish a pecking order. Arcanine, by virtue of being evolved, would be obviously above it, but Axew wouldn't be.

.... Maybe- [ He gives the Deino a good long look- ] It's just this little guy doesn't even know how to talk yet so he can't be that old. [ Not that this little rich, privileged, shifter thought twice to mention he can talk with his pokemon. ]

The only baby Pokemon I have is Axew so why bite obviously older Pokemon if that's the case? Not saying you're wrong but I need proof. Sure, he doesn't bite Arcanine but he won't bite Vulpix either-- ugh! [ All of this was giving Asch one hell of a headache. ]
