First Dango: Arrival at Union. [Video/Action]

[deadlydango]

[The video feed that comes through this fine afternoon is clearly another newbie, if the dialogue and positioning are any indication. It’s actually upside down, and the person looking at it is scowling just a bit.]

Geez, does this thing even work? Stupid…blinking. Quit it!

[It clicks off, and then back on rightside up as the woman frowns at it.]

There. Good. [Clearing her throat, the woman puts on an obviously forced smile.] Yo. Not sure who all can see this, but hey.

[Hooking a thumb at herself, Anko’s tone shifts to a brash, almost cocky tone.]

I’m Anko, from up north in Citadel. Came down here to check out what’s going on in Union, and to do a little research. If there’s anyone with experience around the mountains, particularly with mapping, let me know. I’m looking for someone, and that’s the last place I saw her.

[The video shuts off without further information. She doesn’t really expect anyone to help, but who knows with Unionites. They didn’t have to come fight that monster, either.]

Action

[And around Union, Anko’s not hard to find. She’s trotting through the streets wearing a heavy coat despite the heat, occasionally poking her head into a sweets shop and emerging with a dango or some other snack in hand. She does this at literally every shop between the gate and the library, taste-testing to find the best.

Now, when she reaches the library, she isn’t exactly the quietest person there. In fact, she’s actually pretty damn noisy, since she’s hardly trying to walk quietly. She’s there for several hours going through books and maps and journals, huffing noisily each time she finishes, seemingly unsatisfied. Who’d have thought research was hard. Ugh…]

Well. Yeah. It's just sorta like a Confusion attack.

We'll see. [She takes a bite of her chocolate and slides him a whole stick of dango. For basically not being annoying, she can share a bit.]

Somewhere to go?

[He happily takes the dango. And he's already going to start snacking on it.]

Go? Right now?

[He doesn't mind right now but he wasn't expecting it.]

[Gulps down her dango again.]

Actually if you're not busy, though, can you help me find the university? I'm trying to get to the library.

The university? Sure. But why do you wanna go there?

[That's probably one of the last places Goku would ever go.]

Looking for maps. Leads to find my lost partner.

Who are they? I'm out in the forest a lot- I might be able to help.

[deadlydango]

[Anko's response? Is to just pull out a photo and set it on the table. It's her about five years younger holding a purple and tan snake, and a tall creepy pale guy smiling behind her. One happy snakey family.]

[He takes a look at the picture.]

That guy? Is he your sensei or something?

[deadlydango]

No. [Said quickly and with a tartness to it.] He's not my sensei. And I don't want to see him again. It's the Pokemon.

[garbagedisposal]

[Ooooooooookaaaaaaay not mentioning that guy again.]

I've never seen that pokémon before, sorry. What is it? [He starts eating the dango, and goes to walk out of the store so he can show Anko where the library was.]

[deadlydango]

Honestly? [She shrugs.] I have no idea. I know she's a she, and she's important to me, but the village elders couldn't tell me more than that.

[garbagedisposal]

[His face falls a little. That's kind of sad, and it makes him sad to hear that.]

You'll find her Anko. She couldn't of gotten too far. Besides, she's probably looking for you too.

[deadlydango]

It's been a couple of years. But I know she's out there. [Anko perks up slightly, nodding once to herself.] That's why I'm going to your city library. Maps.

[garbagedisposal]

I hope you find what you need there. [As they walk, he points.]

The library is just over there, you can't miss it. I'll keep an eye out for a snake like that- and if I see her, I'll let you know asap.
