Action
[In a clearing in one of the parks are Hiccup and Toothless. Hiccup is in the middle of trying to fit a saddle on the Charizard.]
Alright, bud. Lemme know if the straps are too tight or too loose.
[Toothless gives a questioning growl at that. The fire-type is unusually expressive for his species, but there's still a language barrier to work past.]
You mean how? I dunno. Tap once if it's too loose, twice if it's too tight, three if it's good to go.

If you need help interpreting I can help. [ She is a shifter after all. ]
Re: Action
Hooray! Finally someone who understands me. Tell him the saddle needs racing stripes.
Re: Action
The saddle needs racing stripes. [ A pause, then speaking to Toothless. ]
You've grown very fast. It is quite a feat.
Re: Action
I figured if I wasn't going to get any teeth, I should at least get wings to replace them.

[Cordelia watches with quite a bit of interest.]

Getting this saddle fitted on Toothless. Figured, what with him being all scaly and stuff, trying to ride bareback would chafe like hell.

If they do, I haven't seen any. Had to make this one myself.

[She comes closer.]
Of course, if he doesn't mind either.

[Charizard shrugs. Sure, it's okay. As for the saddle itself, it's made of dark brown leather, wood, and cushions, with straps meant to go around the neck and shoulders, with the ones on the shoulders buckling together over the chest. Where the horn would be on a horse saddle is instead a shield-like structure with adjustable handlebars crossing underneath. Inset into the front of the shield is a socket for held items.]

what are you trying to do?

[he looks at the saddle and then at the pokemon]
do you need help?

I like games most of the time, but playing Hot or Cold for fitting a harness is really boring.

[He pays as much attention to Toothless as possible, his brow furrowing]
something about the harness part being boring? That's all I can get, sorry
Action
[Then again Isabela supposes if she had a Charizard, she'd also be pretty concerned with his not being irritated.]
Learning lessons from our larcenous ladies to the...damn, there's no l-word for "Northeast", is there?
Re: Action
Ad yeah. I figured it'd be fun and useful, Toothless agreed, I decided I didn't want to fall off mid-flight or have the skin between my legs scraped off by scales, and so here we are.

Anyway, the process sounds absolutely terrifying for everyone else, so good on you. The only Flying-types I've hooked up with are the adorable little bird sorts.
Re: Action
[Toothless appears to seriously consider this for a few moments, until Hiccup's eyes widen in slight fear, before the fire-type bursts out laughing with a strange raspy honking noise.]
That was not funny.

[She pauses.]
...but maybe I went a little far with that mental image.
