So, guess who just evolved? Got an increase in strength and some ridiculous air-time when I jump. No real dramatic physical changes, but I did end up getting these.

[Peter shows off his wrists, revealing a raised discolored patch on each one.]

Doesn't look like anything special, but-

Lots of training. I'm a Ranger, so I'm out of town more often than not because of work.

Best part is I know Electroweb now. I finally have something to counter Flying-types.

Training, huh... I guess that'd do it. I think I'd rather evolve because of some amazing adventure, but we can't be picky!

Aside from the webs, jumping, and strength increase? Just some better reflexes. Admittedly, all of those combined means, theoretically, I could travel from one end of the city to the other without ever touching the ground.

How did you evolve? How did you realize you were an Enlightened to begin with? Is this your first evolution?

Just going about my normal training routine. I was seven when my abilities kicked in. Had a little too much sugar and started literally climbing the walls. And it is my first evolution.

[Fascinating! She laughed at the climbing the walls part.] My, you are even able to climb walls? Is it an ability to manipulate gravity, shifting it from one surface to another? Or is it more related to something your physical being?

Nah, not gravity manipulation. I've got tiny, microscopic barbed hairs on my hands and feet. Same mechanism most Bug-types use.

Do you find yourself inclined to eat other insects or foliage like some of the bug-types?

...not really, no. I've never had any Bug-type instincts. Heck, before I evolved the only Bug-type move I knew was Struggle Bug. Most of my other ones are more in line with the fact that I'm also half Fighting-type.

I see! That is quite impressive to be so diverse and being able to climb walls and ceilings as well as your ability to use String Shot will allow you quite a bit of advantage in the wild.
