Log Deputy: Sheepy (
sheepyton) & Void (
beholdthevoid
Participating Characters: Lux, Ezreal, Hiccup, Yuuna, Banzu & Eren
Plot Description: An excavation team takes to the Old City looking for supplies to recreate older technology, a Pokédex.
Warnings/Notes: This is the first of many logs that will be taking place over the next few months.
The team had assembled, hand-picked by Lux herself, yet despite that, she was nervous. No one needed to know that of course and, waiting at one of the entrances of the Old City, supplies packed away on her back, and Pokémon prepped in her warp band, she waited for the rest of the team to get there.
Their plans were simple: Using some of the maps of the Old City, they were down there for computer parts, whatever they could salvage and bring up to the surface. It should be relatively easy, so she hoped.

He's glad Hiccup put it into simple terms, honestly. As much as Eren likes technology, he has no idea how it works. He finds another pile to look through and starts moving pieces carefully with his talons.

"Out here's pretty much picked over already, I think. Hate to say it, considering they're halfway to collapsing in on themselves, but we might have better luck in the buildings."

"Very likely. I'd like to get a bit off the beaten path if we can. Let's move on a bit, I think we're starting to get a bit closer to some less-traveled areas."
He leads the group through a few corridors about a mile in. There are about three standing buildings, but the entrance is blocked by a heap of rubble.
"This one I've been meaning to try to get into for a few years now, but I haven't had the manpower. With you gentlemen, I think we might be able to clear a way. I'd prefer not to use explosives if we can avoid it, that might be a bit dangerous."

Matilda throws a rock at Eren's head, and it bounces off his steel skull with a "BINGK". She yells something mean-sounding at him.
"I am NOT a wuss! It's called being smart. But if we're careful we shouldn't have any problems."
Eren stands in front of the pile of rubble, thinking. Napoleon the tyrantrum could easily move a lot of this mess, but he had no reason to. He'd probably make more of a mess. No, he had someone better.
He brings his ankle up to his beak and pecks at the Warp band carefully, summoning Fig the now fully fledged sigilyph in a burst of light. Fig flits to and fro, then lands on Eren's head. He "speaks" in a childish psychic voice, in perfect Human tongue.
"Mommy!! Hi mommy! Why are we in the dark city?"
"We're looking for important pieces of tech and I need to you to help us move these rocks, alright?"
Fig chirps happily and then flits over to the blockage. After giving it a good once over, he start using Psychic to levitate chunks of debris and move them out of the way, starting at the top so he doesn't cause a slide of rubble.

"Only thing we really have that could budge those rocks would be Dragon Rage, and that would so not be a good idea."
no subject
"Dragon and Toothless might be able to work together on this one. Charizards are pretty strong, so they can probably help move debris. Charmeleons aren't quite there yet, but they're still pretty tough."
no subject
"You help, too," he says, then starts picking up rocks in his beak and throwing them out of the way. Matilda rolls her eyes and starts digging. Fig keeps up a good pace until he finds something shiny -- and absolutely useless. It looks like the remains of a dead magnemite, dented, but still round and metallic. Nope, now he's gotta stare at this.

Toothless bounds his way upwards, and starts pushing at the smaller boulders, sending them tumbling down. He tail swipes a pebble over Fig's way for good measure, trying to get it's attention.
Could you stop slacking off?

Much of the building is long since shattered, with blasted tables and shelves. There are a few books strewn around, as well as, sitting on a cracked desk, a strange device. It seems to possess a monitor, and looks to be what they might be looking for.

"Look at me, look at me, I'm a magnemite! Bzzzzzzzttt!! Bzzzzttt!!"
Eren rolls his eyes. If he wants to mess around with pieces of dead pokémon (... weird), then who is Eren to spoil his fun? Eren starts picking at the books, head tilted. Matilda jumps up on the table and snatches the device, looking at it closely.
Hey! Hey!! I found somethin'!

Brushing off the millenium's worth of dust, he coughed and Fuzzface sneezed as a small cloud of it was kicked up.
"Definitely what we're looking for. I wanna get it back up to the surface before we open it up though. All this dust could damage the internals."
no subject
"Should we put it in my bag and keep looking? Or are we done?"

Ezreal walks over to a pile of rubble. There are some torn pages and evidence of shelves torn from the wall, but the shelves themselves are not immediately visible.
"I'll bet there's something under here."
Vilemaw moves forward, and starts gingerly digging through the pile.
