Plot Description: An excavation team takes to the Old City looking for supplies to recreate older technology, a Pokédex.
Warnings/Notes: This is the first of many logs that will be taking place over the next few months.

The team had assembled, hand-picked by Lux herself, yet despite that, she was nervous. No one needed to know that of course and, waiting at one of the entrances of the Old City, supplies packed away on her back, and Pokémon prepped in her warp band, she waited for the rest of the team to get there.

Their plans were simple: Using some of the maps of the Old City, they were down there for computer parts, whatever they could salvage and bring up to the surface. It should be relatively easy, so she hoped.

Ezreal was a bit early to show up, despite not having come with Lux on this one. He was well equipped and standing straighter and sharper than he normally might. He at least looked attentive.

Surprised to see him there before her, it set her a bit more at ease, and Lux rose her hand to greet him. "Ezreal! I hope I didn't keep you waiting." The posture seemed a little strange, but she didn't give it much thought. "How long have you been here?"

Yuuna arrived not long after, warp band set, though she's accompanied by a Hitmonchan and a Golett all the same. A pack slung over the Hitmonchan's back, the human herself has a small, waterproofed tube dangling from a shoulder strap.

She waves, but doesn't interrupt beyond a "Not late am I?"

"Doesn't look like it," Hiccup said. He'd arrived with his own backpack of supplies, Toothless at his side and an Eevee riding on top of the pack.

"I think I'm probably late," Eren says as he approaches, in his Pokémon form. It was probably odd to hear a human voice coming out of a skarmory's beak, but Eren is as casual as ever. He has a pack of supplies (emblazoned with the logo of the rangers) on his back and a rather sour looking scrafty at his side. Said scrafty has piercings in her horns and a belt holding up her "pants", as well as a stick in her mouth.

"Sorry about that. Matilda took some convincing, but she's agreed to show us some places that might have what we're looking for."

"Not long," Ezreal said. "Looks like we're all here, what are the orders?"

[OOC: 24 hours pushing the thread along; Goggs go ahead and jump in whenever. I'll be splitting the thread after all questions (if any) are answered.]

Adjusting her pack to pull out two copies of a map, she stood in front of the group. "We'll be going through the Old City, visiting the area circled on your map general areas around it. We will be taking back computer parts, anything that we can carry, and bringing them back to the University for sorting."

She handed off a copy of the map to Ezreal. "We'll be splitting into two groups; Ezreal, you'll be with Hiccup and Eren, and Yunna and Banzu, you're with me. Ezreal's team will be heading south, and my team will be going east.

"I don't anticipate there being too much danger, but we'll use the warp bands to communicate. These are more stable areas of the Old City, so I don't foresee any trouble. Any questions before we begin?"

Yuuna shook her head, adjusting the tube and her the sword belted to her waist. Computer parts were simple enough. Banzu she'd talked to a few times, and...there wasn't likely to be any danger where they were going. At least, not as far as she could tell.

"I'm good. I've got some Pokemon that could probably do some major hauling too, if we find a good collection. So, hopefully we'll be able to grab a bunch."

"Same here, though he's pretty big so if we go anywhere too cramped he won't fit."

Banzu had a pack and his black shotgun slung over his shoulders, and was currently accompanied by Spur-Mesh the Klang, Facet the Carbink, and Multi the Smeargle, with the other two members of his team linked to his Warp Band.

"According to my dad, cramped describes half of what's down there." Hiccup said wryly. "Of course, he's like 8 feet tall. Kind of a different perspective on the whole thing."

"Anyways, I don't have a heavy lifter, but I do have a 3-foot-tall lantern." The teenager indicated his Charmeleon, who rolled his eyes at the comment.

"I've got some heavy lifters. I can lift a lot myself."

The Scrafty taps her chest and puffs out.

"... She wants everyone to know she can lift heavy things, too. Really well." Eren rolls his eyes and adjusts his wings.

"I've got some heavy lifters myself, no worries. I think this'll be good. Looking forward to working with you guys."

He scans the map quickly before rolling it up and sticking it in a watertight sheaf.

"I think we're good. Shall we, gentlemen?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." Toothless nods in agreement, and Fuzzface chirps encouragingly.
