Pokémingle 2: The Pokémingling

It's another lovely summer day! It's later in summer now and as the excitement from the previous weeks die down, another sign goes up in the local park...

Pokémingle!! Back by popular demand!

It's an open event for Pokémon of any kind! Play games, walk together, and relax in the sun! Trainers, let your Pokémon take the day off! Let's make Pokéfriends!! (^_^)

((Pokémingle returns! While the base premise is that it's a relaxing day at a park, feel free to respond with other top-level comments with what else your Pokémon might be doing around Union. No real rules about top-level threads, so if you want to include all of your Pokémon in one thread or do separate ones for a few Pokémon, go ahead. (Try not to make top-levels for 15 different Pokémon though if possible.) No trainers allowed!! Or at least, minimal trainer interference!

[Titania frowns a little and is about to respond when Fran wanders on over to the two of them, the Chansey looking a little surprised.

'My! Did you make a friend, Titania?'

'T-that's none of your business!']

[Oh! Hello!

Scout greets the Chansey just as cheerfully as she'd said hello to the Mawile.

I'm Scout! Are you two friends?]

['Hello to you too, Scout. I am Fran and I suppose you could say that Titania and I are friends.'

Fran smiles while Titania crosses her arms and huffs, still a bit flustered.]

[Hi, Fran! It's nice to meet you!

Scout's tails bob cheerfully talks. She's pleased to be making yet another new friend!

Do you guys come here a lot?

['No, not really.'

Titania will move a little bit away, letting Fran talk with Scout instead.]

[My friends and I usually come here several times a week. It's the first time we've seen so many other pokemon here, before!

Scout notices you moving off to be by yourself, Titania...But she'll have to let you go for now, because she doesn't want to be rude to Fran!]

['Who are your friends, if I may ask?']

[Oh! They're around somewhere.

She does turn about to look around the park from her spot next to her new friend, but doesn't immediately see any of them. It is a pretty big park, after all!

There's Sergeant, and Paladin, Captain, Brigadier, Fenris, and Garrett!

Two of those names are not like the others...probably a good guess that one or the other of them is her partner as well as one of her friends.]

[Fran follows Scout's line of sight as well but yes, it is a big park. Plus she's not sure who they are.

'I see. You must really like them all.']

[They're all puppy-shaped...not that it would occur to Scout to think to mention that.

I do! They're my family.

What about you? Is it just you and Titania? Do you have a human partner, too?]

['I do indeed! His name is Flynn and he's a very sweet human though he never talks a whole lot with anyone much. He'll talk with me, Mandrake, Oberon, Nate, and Titania but aside from Ms. Blue, he's not all that conversational with anyone.'

He's just so reserved all the time.]

[Mine's the opposite! Garrett's really outgoing and friendly and he talks all the time! Sometimes he says stuff I don't understand, but that's okay. He takes such good care of everyone!

Maybe we should introduce him to your partner!

It's pretty obvious she likes this thought a lot. What will Fran think?]

[She thinks it's a wonderful idea and it shows.

'I think that would be splendid!']

[Okay, good!

But now she has to pause thoughtfully.

I'm not sure when Garrett'll be back to pick us up, though. Definitely before sunset but I can't say any more accurately beyond that. What about your Flynn?]

['Mm, if I'm remembering correctly his shift on the wall ends late in the afternoon today.'

He hasn't been taking her with him when he goes on Guard duty as of late. She didn't mind too much, but sometimes she really missed it.]

[Hmmm...

Scout tilts her head back and forth a few times as she ponders how to coordinate this.

Well, if Garrett gets here first, I can at least ask him to wait around until Flynn shows up.]
