Pokémingle 2: The Pokémingling

It's another lovely summer day! It's later in summer now and as the excitement from the previous weeks die down, another sign goes up in the local park...

Pokémingle!! Back by popular demand!

It's an open event for Pokémon of any kind! Play games, walk together, and relax in the sun! Trainers, let your Pokémon take the day off! Let's make Pokéfriends!! (^_^)

((Pokémingle returns! While the base premise is that it's a relaxing day at a park, feel free to respond with other top-level comments with what else your Pokémon might be doing around Union. No real rules about top-level threads, so if you want to include all of your Pokémon in one thread or do separate ones for a few Pokémon, go ahead. (Try not to make top-levels for 15 different Pokémon though if possible.) No trainers allowed!! Or at least, minimal trainer interference!

Zee?

[ Spritzee, being a busybody and therefore inclined to keep active, is out gathering materials for Natto's flower crown workshop. What are that Ivysaur and Gloom doing, though?

She flutters over to see. Pardon the intrusion! ]

[ Niku seems to be curled up comfortably on the ground while Turnip sprinkles a little bit of Poison Powder over its head. But, when the Spritzee flutters by, the Gloom stops with its hit of poison powder and waves dopily.

Niku's still enjoying the smell of the poison powder and is... occupied at the moment. ]

Glooooom!

[ Goodness, don't you both look relaxed. Is the sun particularly warm over here or something? Spritzee lands and hops up to the pair. It doesn't feel any different... ] Spritzee?

Gloom gloom!

[ Turnip's always rather relaxed, although the sun is really nice today, isn't it. Maybe that's why Turnip is totally not stinking up the place yet. However, he's quite curious about this newcomer. That's a lot of pink! Almost as much pink as Pinky and Puffy...

Niku just glances up from his comfortable spot on the grass and nods once to the Spritzee in greeting. ]

[ Pink is just the best color! As is green. So really, both of you are looking wonderful!

....Gloom is a little on the purple side, though. She could do without that, so Spritzee keeps closer to Ivysaur. Is your friend....well, is he....reputable? And what's that funny feeling in the air? ] Spri?

[ Purple is a very relaxing color. Turnip's human thinks its very becoming on him! .. .when she's getting over his smell. But that's a different story for a different time.

The Ivysaur yawns and shakes himself off, and subsequently, a few specks of poison powder that had attached itself to its sprouting bud on his back. They're both reputable! There's no shady business here! And their human relies on them quite a lot! ... so that says something! ..right? ]

Saur!

[ Oh, that is a good sign. Carry on, then! Spritzee lifts a wing in approval. ] Spritzee!

[ ....it's hard to discover disreputable deeds when you have no idea what one might look like. There's a funny feeling around here, though. Makes her tingle a bit. ]

[ Their trainer taught them well! ... Never let out more poison powder when other pokemon or humans are around. Hopefully the Spritzee won't end up with Poison status...

Niku extends a paw out to the Spritzee to shake, now that he's not too into the poison powder. ]

[ She seems all right thus far. She's a hardy (if not a Hardy) young thing.

The paw gets a quizzical look, but she bats a wing against it since she needs her legs to stand on. Nice to meet you both. She supposes you have Trainers, as well? ] Zee!

[ Yes! They have a trainer! She's not the brightest half the time, but she cares and always feeds them and gives them treats when they're being good.

The Gloom has known her for longer though. Through one evolution! ]

Spritzee. [ Just treats and no discipline? Well, that might account for your relaxed demeanors....She certainly hopes your Trainer appreciates how pink Ivysaur's flower bud is. Like. Wow. Such pink. Very color.

Do you mind if she hops up to take a better look at it? ]

[ Of course. Go right ahead. Niku lays down and lays a little bit on its side so that the Spritzee can look at the flower bud.

If you like pink, wait until the Clefairy comes around to check on them. She's a nice color of pink. ]

[ Spritzee freaking loves pink. She could look at pink forever. Green is also an excellent hue, but mostly, no. Pink. Pink all the way.

And thus she takes her sweet time fluttering around Niku's flower as if she means to pollinate it, examining and appreciating the warmth of the tones, the healthiness of the bud. Yes. Yes, you pass! You are an excellent Pokémon! Isn't that exciting?! ] Spriiii!

[ Pinky would be the end of her. In the best possible way. ]

[ Niku's never had anyone look so excited for his flower. Granted, Usagi was excited when he had evolved that one time, but that was to be expected.

Still, he just lets the Spritzee do her thing. However, Turnip looks a little left out, so he excitedly walks over to put his terrible smelling petals in Spritzee's direction so she can examine his!

Pay attention to him, Spritzee! He has a pretty flower too! \

[ Oh, dear, there is an odor about now....But discrimination over things like that, especially when the Pokémon in question can't help it, is a mean and terrible thing to do. Spritzee is ashamed of herself.

So, despite Gloom's body being much more purple than Ivysaur's, she obliges by examining this flower too. It's a....it's a very nice pink, she does have to admit...

...is it still rude if she holds her breath? ] Zee.

[ Turnip doesn't know any better. Niku, on the other hand, doesn't blame the Spritzee at all for keeping her breath held. He's used to it and if it weren't for the fact that Turnip's got some pretty nice poison powder, he probably wouldn't spend half the amount of time with him as he does.

But, Turnip is now very pleased that his flower has passed the test and starts waddling in excitement....

.. and thus heightening his stench. ]

Zee! [ Ugh! Oh, no, she can smell that even when she's trying not to....Spritzee flaps a wing, trying to rebound the odor back on its creator - then remembers she's the Perfume Pokémon. V-very well. Because she's a decent soul, and you were kind to her, she will do you a favor and mask your scent so that you can play with the other Pokémon.

Spritzee concentrates, then begins secreting sweet odors. It might be a scent-off all up in here now.
