[The video is of Isabela sitting and looking rather bored on the beach south of Union. She's looking a bit annoyed, which seems to have gone entirely unnoticed by the Lombre playing in the tide pools over her shoulder.]

As fast and fancy as Banzu's mechano-boat is, I've found myself longing for the more traditional seafaring of befriending a Water-type and riding around on it. Unfortunately, my attempts at fishing have resulted only in the little red guys and a new pair of boots, and I haven't got the patience to teach the former how to go all water-dragon.

[Lombre turns from his splashing and looks rather offended.] You're neither a fish nor big enough to ride, stop giving me that look.

[Isabela turns back to the camera.]

What I'm asking is can anyone spot me a decent fishing rod, either borrowed or built? I know everyone's busy fighting-slash-helping those flying pirates, but being stuck on land is really starting to get irritating.

[From the background, Banzu seems to be standing on the balcony of his workshop's little tower, looking out over the ocean.]

"Traditional" wouldn't let you get instant responses from people nowhere near you. Traditional also means unpredictable behavior from your ride and having something around that dies if you don't feed it all the time and can't be fixed if it breaks.

I can make you a rod. Not gonna "spot" you one though.

I'm not against technology. I just like to be out by myself sometimes, or at least just me and a partner who enjoys swimming as much as I enjoy sailing.

Besides, your engines die just as easily if not fed, they just need coal instead of Berries.

[She does brighten up, though.]

All that said, I'd be happy to exchange favors, of course.

But if I leave Pathfinder tied up at the pier for a week and don't feed its engines the whole time it'll still be floating right-side up.

Well, there's always the one option...but if you're looking for something that lasts longer, I have a few other ideas as well.

Well, if it's a ride you want, I can provide that. It's not with a water type and certainly not as fast as Banzu's boat, but Hyozan's big enough for an outing if you don't mind company. And have a blanket.

He just evolved, yesterday in fact. Up till then, I never figured he'd become something this large either.

Like most Pokémon, they evolve by getting into fights with other Pokémon.

Unlike most, they have no capacity whatsoever for fighting. All they can really do is tag along and try not to get eaten. It's a bit hit-or-miss.

...I'm picturing one flopping about on the ground while the ones with legs do all the fighting. Is that accurate?

Besides, they don't exactly sell the high end fishing poles in stores. I'd have to ask one of the local builders for one anyway, and this is the easiest way to do it.
