The Raids

[As the people of Union begin to move out into the plains, they'll find that the Councilor's warnings were apt. Though not everyone is targeted, it isn't long before a few unlucky travelers find themselves on the receiving end of the same type of attack. The bandits, whoever they might be, are experts at swooping out of the blue, striking so swiftly that the victims almost never even catch a glimpse of them.

How exactly will they put this to a stop? There's so many, it seems impossible to take them out one group at a time... Perhaps they have a base somewhere.]

((This post is for both groups who wish for mods to run and players to thread freely amongst themselves. You may feel free to handwave having been attacked and thread the aftermath of that event. Please respond to the appropriate section depending on where your character is. Thanks!))

[ As if knowing that the smell of Turnip would be enough to knock anyone out, just seeing that both Rei and Makoto are suffering from it is enough to make Usagi panic.

Screw the nasty smell! Usagi just takes her hand away from her face and pushes through the gross scent. It makes her light headed, but, she has other things to worry about.

Quickly, Usagi moves to gather both Rei and Makoto close to her so that if something happens, she can at least make sure that they're protected first since they're incapacitated from Turnip. She doesn't notice the flute falling to the ground, but Lucky does and immediately dives for it. It was the thing that was making hideous noises! It needed to stay away from the bad people, after all. ]

[Rei rolls back, grateful for her Murkrow for trying, and to Usagi for attempting to protect them. It takes a supreme effort of will, but she manages to sit up and mumble...]

[And then Phobos begins to flap her wings even more, and the stench begins to fade, thankfully...]

[Gyarados has a net stuck to one of her head fins, and she keeps shaking her head, trying to get it off.] Bass.

[..right. Gyarados keeps watch on the retreating figures instead.

Still breathing through her mouth, Michiru finally dismounts and picks up her Roselia, setting the Grass type in the middle of the group. She's got a naturally sweet perfume, even if she's already using Aromatherapy again without prompting.]

Is everybody alright?

[The fanning Rei's Murkrow is doing with her wings helps, and after a few strained moments Makoto's able to start getting her own coughing under control - trying to breathe shallowly despite her lungs' protest, until she's sure she's not just going to start up again. It's nice to have Usagi to lean on while she catches her breath!]
