[Video] Announcing that the ship is now available for use!
[The feed comes on to show Banzu. It looks like he got some piercings since people last saw him; cuffs on his upper ears and weird blobs on his lobes. It's certainly not the case that he evolved because he's totally not an Enlightened.]
Hi everyone, I'm Banzu. I'm happy to announce that as of today you can charter my ship to take you to the tropical island or for whatever exploration journeys you're interested in. Just contact me for details and to schedule a time. Right now I'm also taking requests for me to build or repair things.
For those of you who haven't seen Pathfinder yet, I'll show you the highlights.
[The camera rotates to show the ship moored at the end of the stone pier, "Pathfinder" painted on its bow. The ship is 60 feet long, with a short metal smokestack protruding from the middle, an open forward deck, a small hut with large windows just forward of the smokestack, and a raised section covering the aft deck with water tanks mounted on the roof. The camera starts moving towards it.]
This is the Pathfinder. It can carry passengers, cargo, and supplies for a small expedition. It's powered by a steam turbine engine and can reach the tropical island in around two hours. The forward deck can be used to hold cargo, but passengers are free to be on it as well.
[Banzu walks up the gangplank and through the open door at the top. Through another door can be seen the inside of the wheelhouse, with the ship's controls visible, but Banzu turns left instead and descends a steep set of stairs into the cabin. The interior isn't anything fancy or high-class, being mostly varnished wood with no decorations, but it's still a fairly nice-looking place. The stairs emerge next to some cabinets, with an extremely compacted kitchen area on the other side of the space from the stairs.]
This is Pathfinder's cabin, where passengers can stay if they'd rather not be on the deck above. As you can see there's electricity, lighting, and equipment for preparing food on a long trip.
[The camera turns to look towards the bow and moves past the partition wall, showing padded bench seating along the sides with a table running down the middle, which can apparently fold down until it's only a narrow ledge down the middle, judging by how one section of the table is currently folded down to demonstrate. There are a pair of somewhat narrow bunks behind the nearest benches, one on each side, and a small door at the other end, opened wide enough that the edge of a toilet can be seen.]
And this is the seating area. It can seat twelve, and if you fold down the seats there's a total of six bunks for overnight trips.
[He turns the camera to show himself again.]
And that's the passenger areas. If you're interested in going to the island, or if you just want to ride, contact me to schedule your trip. I'm hoping to see lots of you in the coming weeks.
Banzu out.
[OOC Notes: The Pathfinder is now available for use! Further details on the ship, the port, and how hiring Banzu's services works, are in those links, but basically, normal trips to the tropical island can be handwaved; just PM this account or contact me at
GoggleDragon if you want to do some exploring or to plot anything unusual.]

[Goku's impressed, that probably took a lot of effort.]

[It did.]

Still! You must of been working on that day and night, doing it in under a month! I don't know too many people who can do something like that.

Well, how come it's been centuries when we've been able to build one this entire time? Are we really that far behind?
no subject
Probably no one thought about it. Or if they did, they never got around to actually building it.
[Or no one found blueprints in the Old City like Banzu did but he's not telling anyone that.]
no subject
Gosh, thanks for thinking to though. Not sure where we'd be if people like you didn't try to make things a little easier for everyone around here.

Whenever you end up wanting a trip I'll be around.

Oh wow! That is awesome! Must've been a lot of work!

[She peers at the video again.]
Any time you're looking to set sail in the near future?

[She grins, and so does the Hitmonchan.]
I'm Yuuna, by the way.
I'm Banzu, but you knew that already.
So, uh...what gave you the idea? Just thought a little nautical excursion sounded nice?
After the tropical island was discovered I heard lots of people trying to arrange rides because they had no Pokémon that could get 'em there. It seemed like people'd be interested in another way to get there, and maybe to find other islands.

[She'd had vague notions of it once she'd acquired nautical travel. And unbeknownst to her, Bergmite is not far from evolving into an aircraft carrier...]
You think I could convince you to take me along?

[She isn't broke, exactly, but she's not wealthy enough to fund anything solo.]
