[ACTION; CLOSED TO FON FABRES, ROBIN AND HANS]
[The last time she had been to the estate was for her aunt's birthday, and, quite frankly, it hadn't been long enough. This time, she made quite clear to her parents--particularly her mother, multiple times--was purely for business; there has been word of some goings on that needed the rangers' attention, and, as an adviser to their mission, she, along with her assigned analyst, needed to meet with her father.
So, of course, when the two of them arrived, there was a large welcoming party of servants and family.
This was going to be a long day...]
***
[After finally going through the grueling process of "negotiating", and the long line of questions from her mother, Cordelia managed to get away, retreating to her old room. Everything was as it had been, which was a blessing in disguise.
After a few moments, music began cascading down the hall from the open door. A full-sized harp, resting close to her bed, rested against her shoulder. It had been too long since she was able to play.]
[ACTION; LATER THAT NIGHT]
[Later in the evening, Cordelia can be foundhiding out at a table in Teeters, a stein of some kind of alcohol sitting next to her. Her head is down, hair haphazardly thrown over her face, and she is otherwise draped over the tabletop. The poor thing looks positively miserable and could use a hug.
Or another drink.
Or heckling.
Really, she probably could do without any of those things, but she wasn't going to get out of it, was she?]

A hard sigh escapes her. Was this really necessary? She starts to walk, looking a bit drained already.]
At least we are getting a meal before negotiations...
[Under her breath.]
Mother, was this really necessary...

As Cordelia gets ready to stand, her mother speaks up.]
You must be new, usually discussions are done by someone older. Where did you come from? You're very well-spoken.

[That seems to pique her mother's curiosity.]
You found him?

[Cordelia tries not to have a look on her face, and instead, gives a bit of an awkward smile.]

With her mother and her father in the room.]
You lived with Cordelia?
[Oh Savior.]
In the spare bedroom! Only for a short while! He has a place of his own now, isn't that right, Robin? A nice apartment for you and your Eevees!

No one cares about your Eevees, Robin]How long did you live there? Tell me more.
[Her father is being diplomatic, the look on his face sterile, and he keeps very quiet.]
Mother, I really don't think--

[Oh Savior you did not]
Mother!

[Oh Savior, why would you]
Cordelia, you must take better care of yourself! Do you really let that accident rule your life that much?
Dear, it's all right. At least she had such a charming young man to take care of her. You did take care of her, didn't you Robin?

In any case, knowing what we do now, and with my father's approval, we should be making preparations to depart soon--
You should stay for dinner!
[Or not.]

I really wish you--
[And her mother is gone!]
wouldn't...

[Her mother sighs heavily, resting her cheek in her hand.]
Well, if you really can't stay...
Come on, Robin.
[Said in a tone of voice that says if you aren't already jumping up out of your seat, she's going to drag you out of it.]

Asch or Luke must have said something, the way that she went right for the jugular. And why did Robin have to play along? This was the worst. The absolute worst.
At least they managed to get business done, but even still...]
My head hurts...
