[The video message currently being broadcasted might be the most uninformative recording yet. Two little fox-like Pokémon yipping over the call, both seem frantic.. –connection is soon lost. The mountain top’s blizzard is raging too harshly.]

action; | morning of the 17th, Union.

[Whether you saw the video or not both little Fennekins have made their way back to Union somehow. Wandering around but not mindlessly or seemingly lost. No, quite the opposite, they both seem to know where they are going.

A little odd for Pokemon not native to Union.] Fenn!! Fen..!

[The struggle is almost adorable, like one of those cute Pokemon warp-band videos where Puruglys attempt swimming or baby Lillipups tumble over each other. The one little Fennekin can’t make his way up the steps to the upper-class district… try as he might those steps are built larger then all others in Union. Aww—the poor thing's starting to whimper (against his will…)

While the one Fennekin hopped the other ventures, sniffing out the nearest food vendor... the poor things is starving. Big, round, green eyes glare up at the fruit stand… waiting to make his move. Suddenly—SNATCH! The owner is wailing over this small little fox who has stolen his product. (Without paying!! How rude?)

Why a Fennekin would steal an apple in the first place… The little thing just runs away with the apple in his mouth, going off to hide somewhere...]

[It was a long trek back from the mountain, and Luke wished his parents would just come and find them already. They must've been frantic, of course... At least, he hoped. They'd gotten lost out in the city before as children and their mother had fainted from the shock and worry of losing her two precious boys. It didn't stop him from being hungry though. After a few failed attempts at stealing an apple, he'd finally managed to grab one and had run off... but when he came back to Asch, he had about a third of it left, setting it down next to his brother in case he wanted any. They hadn't eaten for almost two days.]

{Asch... Asch, I wanna go home already...}

[He doesn't even sound whiny right now, just... sad. He moves behind his brother and starts nudging him further up onto the step with his head, ears cocked backward. They'd waited so long to become Enlightened and it sucked!]

...] {Guh, just.. come on! Once we're home we'll deal with changing back, sleep and food-- all of it.} [Leaning over to ready his jaw.] {Jump and I'll grab you.} [Asch was suddenly more willing to cooperate with his twin, tried, hungry, and scared.. Grabbing Luke by the back of the neck when he leaped and pulling him up.]

[A wayward tactician comes walking by]

Huh? Aren't you two Cordelia's cousins?

[The comment makes Asch yip! Jumping back to face him.] Fen, FennFenn-! {OF COURSE WE ARE!} [Finally! Someone that could tell. Who would have guessed that Asch and Luke would have awakened as shifter but nonetheless.]

{A little help here?!} -KIN!

[Luke looks up at Robin, his little tail wagging as he yips.]

{We are! You're that guy she's living with! Hey, help us get home!!}

[So demanding. Robin could probably pick them both up if he wanted to. And kidnap them.]

[The problem with this plan is Robin doesn't speak the Pokemon language at all and his ability to understand Pokemon is... questionable]

Are you guys playing around? I don't think I've ever seen a shifter form like that!

[Aura, his Espeon, is meanwhile snickering. He can understand, at least]

{HEY! Just what do you find so damn funny, huh?!}

[Yipping at the Espeon, it's rather adorable.]

[Luke yips up at Robin, pawing at his shoes.]

{Take us home! We have to go home already so get to it!}

[Espeon flicks its tail demurely, indicating it is above such uncouth yipping. Robin looks down with a bit of confusion]

Huh? Oh! You guys must be hungry! I bet I have some Pokemon snacks for you.

[He reaches into his pocket and produces a few, which he offers to the hapless twins]

Don't worry I won't tell your cousin you're begging for food.

[The little fox gulps-- damn, he's extremely hungry.. but handouts? Asch fon Fabre doesn't take handouts! His little tummy grumbles as his voice cords whimper against his will.]

{JUST... Just take us HOME!} [He circles around, looking and acting more like a pet with each growing second.]

[Robin laughs]

You'd never guess you guys are actually humans the way you're acting. Don't worry, there's plenty of food to go around.

[He adds more to the pile. Espeon is curling up on the ground and watching the twins with amusement.]

[Luke, however, will hop right on those snacks. He jumps up on Asch's back and helps himself, eating out of Robin's palm.]

{Asch, shut up! He already said he wouldn't tell Cordelia!}

{REALLY?! Taking hand outs! You're pathetic....}

[Though Asch couldn't help but stare.... AND SHAKE LUKE OFF! More yipping while doing so. Robin might be able to tell their fighting.

Once Luke was removed Asch goes right back to attempting at climbing the staircase, still far to tiny to make it on his own.]

Robin, what are you doing there?

[Still in uniform, Cordelia walks up, giving the twins a good look. Maybe she recognizes them?]

What strange looking pokemon. Are they friends of yours? They're adorable!

[Nope.]

It's your cousins!

[She blinks a few times, looking down at the two Fennekins. Robin, you can't be serious.]

How did that happen? I don't remember them being this adorable before.

[HELPING.]

They didn't used to register as shifters but now they do. It's quite fascinating!

[ABORT ABORT!! Please exclude form involving Asch's family!! Sadly all the little fox could do was yip, yip and yip and yip some more in protest.]

{LISTEN TO ME!!}

FENNnnn--! [A little puff of ember (if you could even call it that) shot from Asch's mouth. It was nothing that could hurt anyone, maybe warm your hands, but nonetheless it showed off the red-heads frustration.]

[Luke is mostly busy eating Robin's food, but when Cordelia comes over he yips in annoyance and backs up against his brother.]

{Take us home! Come on-- Asch, she's gotta know it's us right?}

[Luke is so good at paying attention.]

{Help us already!!}

[The yipping isn't very effective. Or is, if you want to give her a cavity. Because it's definitely doing a bit of that.]

So cute...

[There's a bit of a blush on her cheeks. No, Cordelia, focus! Adorable fluffy Fennekin cuddles could come later. Or not at all, because they were her bratty cousins. BUT SHE CAN DREAM.]

What do you mean "just registered"? [She doesn't get the seeing stat lines thing.] Did you just find them here like this? What are you two doing anyway? You're filthy!

Like how I can tell you evolved, I can typically see the statistics and abilities of anyone I meet. They didn't used to be shifters, at least as far as I could tell, but now they are.

[UFF- you big galoot! Though Asch doesn't mind his brother being close.. In fact, having the other around keeps his head from pounding so baldy.. That mental connected they had on the mountain had taken it's toll on both boys.

Whimpering slightly-- Asch was stubbron, he wouldn't admit defeat, he'd rather be dragged then submit, and as such he continued to suffer. Vision bury form his refusal to eat.. growing tired in his little body.] {Forget them....

-just lift me up.} [Nudging his brother, they needed to get home.]

[Luke puffs out a breath, not wanting to be called CUTE by his dumb cousin!!! Then he looks to Asch and seems to sigh a little.]

{You have to pull me up then!}

[He gets down on his haunches to springboard Asch up onto the high step...]

[She just nods with an "uh huh..." She really doesn't understand in the slightest, but has also learned that, when it comes to Robin, one just goes with it.

Also she has a thing for cute things, sorry not sorry Luke.]

Oh, are you two trying to climb up? Here, let me help you.

[She grabs one ~~oh no too fluffy she cannot~~, and gestures to Robin to pick up the other.]

Your mother is going to be beside herself when she sees you two. And my mother, for that matter.

[And if you thought Cordelia had a soft spot for the cute, her mother was TERRIBLE about it. Pets and baby talk may be waiting for you two if you go that way.]

[As Robin moves to pick up the other, Aura instead scoops him up by the scruff with her mouth.]

Well I suppose that works. Shall we go?

[ Arietta was used to seeing all the Pokemon around the Union, but this one caught her attention. Though that may be because she wasn't used to seeing that type of Pokemon around. Or because it was whimpering. For whatever reason, Arietta doesn't hesitate to try to pick him up once she makes her way over. ]

Are you okay?

[A "yip" escapes his throat as Asch was picked up.] {Who-?! Arietta??} [Looking back to face her, big green eyes wide in shock before whimpering uncontrollable.]

{It's me, Asch!! Take me home!} [Externally, his words came out in "fen"'s and different yips.]

[ Arietta simply tilts her head before glancing at Liger for help understanding the Pokemon. However, Liger simply flicks her ear. Someone never cared much for Asch. Arietta simply turns back to the Pokemon in her hands and adjusts her grip in order to pet him on the head. ]

What's wrong?

{GRRA-!} [Yeah, yeah, he gets it.. She can't understand him.] {You're going to pay for that! Just you wait...} [Glaring down at Liger..]

{What's wrong is that I'm hungry and stuck in this- this forum!} [His tail waggled as the Asch's little fox body continued to whimper, he had no control of his emotions what so ever in this forum. Glad that someone was coming to his aid but upset over the circumstances.]

[ Arietta can't help but confused by Asch's emotions. Being a Child of the Verdant Forest wasn't always easy. Why was he so upset. It didn't make sense. Liger, however, simply settles onto the ground. Sorry, this was funny. ]

Do you want something to eat? [ It felt like he was hungry.... ]

[A face in disgust, that's right... even just thinking about begging has his stomach twisting. Sadly, what else could be done at this point? She doesn't understand him but in the same respect if he wiggles free from Arietta's grip who will take him home?

Any other time Asch would be far too bullheaded for such weakness, he's making it up these stairs on his own time without anyone's help, but after everything he's been through the newly awakened is ready for it to be over.]

Fen... Fennekin. {...Please, Aretta...} [A whimper and nod.]

[Ace had been walking by when he saw the little fox steal the food, so he of course followed the pokemon until he was able to catch up to it. He's completely fascinated by this pokemon, since he'd never seen one like it before]

are you hungry little one?

[He munches on the apple, leaving a little less than half to bring back to Asch, but backs up when he sees Ace. It's that rude guy!!!]

{What does it look like!! Go away!}

[It's... just a bunch of whiny yips, unless Ace can understand Pokemon.]

[Ace smiles, he's not entirely sure what's up with the weird cute fox but he's noticed how little of the apple is left]

I could buy you more if you want, you look really hungry

[Luke nods right away, figuring if he got more apples, he could eat more and still save some for his brother.]

{Fine! Get me some more!}

[Ace laughs, looking at the little fox and smiling]

hungry eh? Wait here

[he goes to the stall and talks with the seller, buying 3 more apples and, after saying his thanks, walking back towards the spot he left the fox in]

Here you go, you can eat them all up if you want!

[ Unluckily for Luke, Hans was on patrol today-- having given someone a day off or something, y'know. So he's definitely surprised when a tiny little Fennekin runs into him, an apple chomped tight in his mouth.

He's much to small to knock Hans over or anything, but he's cute enough (and rare enough) for Hans to raise an eyebrow. ]

Hey there, little one. Where are you off to in such a hurry?

[He looks up at him, eyes bright suddenly when he sees Hans. He's saved! He even drops that nice shiny apple in his excitement.]

{Master Hans! It's Luke! You gotta take me and Asch home!!}

[He paws at Hans's nice expensive shoes and runs around his ankles.]

[ Oh no, it's Luke. Being a shifter, Hans can understand every word of that, unaided... But no one can know! So he just, looks perplexed.

Luke, omg, don't ruin his shoes, those need to be shiny enough for him to see himself in. ]

Careful--Is everything alright? What's wrong? Have you lost your trainer?

[ Yeah, he's more worried about his pants.... ]

[ Hans bends down, looking him over-- it's all an act, of course. ]

Well, you're not injured...

[The only reason that Quinn would ever be in the higher class district is to visit an important someone, which she got done doing that. Good thing she checks where she walks before stopping at the top of the steps, looking down at the Fennekin. She... never seen one of these before, but she will still carefully approach.]

Hey, do you need some help?

Fen! {Pleeeease!} [If she could hear his human worlds they would be struggled out painfully. Hopping as his little yips were made, his poor body growing hungry.

Big round eyes begged. Asch doesn't realize how adorable these tiny foxes seem on the outsides. With adorableness also comes weakness, looking completely approachable.]

{I'm not a Pokemon, I'm a person! Take me home!!} Fen, Fennfenn, -Kin! [...

They had been put thought so much these past twelve hours Asch was resorting to begging... and he never begs for anything! Not completely sure what getting home will do but it's something, if anything.]

[You might as well be saved, Asch. Being a Kindred Soul, she can understand most of the words the little fox is trying to say. Quinn still keeps a serious expression, but she offers a hand. A friendly offer.]

Calm down. I can take you home. Just need you to show me the way. Understand?

{You--! You can understand me?!} [A shocked-filled jump in relief, these little Fennekin bodies have an awful lot of expression.]

[Pawn resting over Quinn's.] {Thank the Savior, I'm Asch fon Fabre, it seems I've currently awoken into enlightened hood and unfortunately can't control it very well.. This way.} [He points with his nose.]

Yeah, I can. Part of my abilities as an Enlightened. I'm Quinn. [A little shake of the paw with her hand before she carefully picks him up and walks in the direction.]

While I'm not a Shifter, I can understand the situation a little bit. Awaking your powers for the first time and all.

If I may ask, what kind of Pokémon are you? I never seen it before.

... [A sigh--] No... I get it. I-- on the mountain, I talked with my own Pokemon. Beast was the reason we stayed alive, heh... Kinda a shocker waking up to talking puppies. [A pause... letting her carry him home.] Guess I really have awoken. [Despite his pride Asch didn't struggle, she was more so assisting... yeah. The little fox wasn't helpless, he wouldn't allow himself to be considered helpless.]

-And I don't actually know. My twin brother and I share some psychic link and I'm obviously fire-type too. Guess a mixture of both but not like a Vulpix... -or maybe like Vulpix, but I know I'm not one. I've bonded with one... Looks totally different.
