[The camera wobbles a bit as an excited looking woman in her mid twenties fiddles with some settings before she finally seems somewhat satisfied. It's a little off center, but it's definitely got her face framed...mostly. There's clearly a Magnemite hovering over her left shoulder, too, it's single eye looking down at the device with obvious interest.]

Oh, good, it works.

[The woman coughs once, clearing her throat.]

Hello Union! My name's Yuuna and hehe...I just got the video function working the other day. At least, I think I did? Tell me if the picture's fuzzy or anything.

[She pauses, looking at something off screen and making a flailing motion with her arm and mouthing something inaudible. A moment later and there's a rustling sound, followed by the clink of metal.]

Anyway. Um, introductions. Yes. You can call me Yuuna, and this is Zedd. [She points up to the Magnemite.] And...I guess at the moment we're kinda freelancing. [Meaning: Unemployed.] I've been getting out and exploring a bit the last little while, but never particularly far. Didn't want to stretch my friend's limits, or mine, y'know? But I think today may be the day I start heading out a little further, so I made sure I got this thing working in case something happens. So...heh...if my next broadcast is screaming and shouting send help?

Are there any places you'd say to avoid? Or places there are some really cool pokemon to see? Or hey, if there's anyone not too far off that wants to go poke around some new places with me, I'm totally down. Just give me a buzz, okay?

[She giggles, holding up an arm to flex. There's a surprising amount of muscle there, lean and toned.]

I'm not one of the Enlightened, but I can't say I'd call myself weak. I've been working with my pokemon for...oh...basically the last two years. Those fighting schools are great for building up your body, and that's what I had to do to make friends with Gouken here.

[That is pretty surprising, Ace just whistles in amazement]

that's pretty amazing! I was born being a fire type enlightened so for me it was really easy to bond with fire guys, but everyone else took time and effort, so even if it's not the same I can kinda know what you mean

Yeah? You've got super-powers then? Well...that's pretty cool.

[Still smiling she lowers that arm and peers at the camera.]

What all can you do? Like, throw fireballs and stuff?

[merameranomi]

I can do that and well, I can pretty much shoot fire out of every part of my body, like a suit but made out of fire instead. For protection purposes mostly.
I can also make big balls of fire, the kind that you would need two hands to hold? yeah like that, it's pretty sweet when I get to do it

[That's all pretty impressive, Ace. And she gets a sense that you're not the kind of person that abuses that. Which is good.]

Sounds like you're not the kinda guy who gets along with water pokemon then. Do you swim?

[merameranomi]

[He smiles a little, scratching his head, his hat tilting a bit and the Pichu raising her head to make sure she's not gonna fall before going back to resting]

Not really, I feel really weak when I get in the water, and even though I can swim I can't stay in for too long, or I'll end up so tired I won't be able to move for a whole day

Aw, man that sounds awful. Can you at least take hot baths and stuff?

[Seriously that sounds positively horrific!]

hot baths are actually one of my favourite things, but still feel kinda weak when I soak for too long

Really? That...kinda sucks. I'm sorry, Ace. Kinda makes me glad I'm not Enlightened. I don't think I could deal with not being able to swim.

I can't blame you, but since I've been this way my whole life I'm not really able to know better

Fair enough. I mean, I guess it all balances out in the end.

yup! It does, for sure

Well...anyway, that all sounds pretty neat. But I think I'd rather be able to swim. [She grins and sticks out her tongue.]

But that's just me. No offense or nothing. I'm sure it's helpful being able to fight like that!

no offence taken! and yup, it is pretty helpful while fighting, but I bet being able to fight without any extra powers is a great task to accomplish

[Stroke her ego more, why don't you?]

[Congrats Ace, you've given her a bit of swagger. It's mostly a joke though.]

I mean, I work hard, and so do my friends. Being recognized for it is pretty sweet. Of course, it has it's downsides, but at least I can't be lazy!

Hard work is always good, and besides I think you can be a bit lazy once in a while, it won't do too much damage to relax and do nothing for a bit!
