[Feliks is sitting on the balcony at his grandparents' home, totally not paying attention to the glorious view of the city in the background. He has a blanket spread out, and appears to be enjoying the breeze on a decidedly humid day, a Dragonair wrapped affectionately around his legs and waist as he sits on the ground.]

So look who evolved! [He scratches her behind the little ear-wing, to which she replies with a happy little trill, almost a song.]

Not just her, either--Jadwiga evolved again right after we got to the city! She's like, even more gorgeous than before now, and she kicked all kinds of Gigas butt!

I mean, not gonna lie, there was a whole lot going on there that was just all kinds of sketchy, but whatever, we totally sent them packing, right?

But there's something that's still bothering me...

How come everybody else who went found a Ponyta but me?

[Huzar jumps a little, unwrapping herself from around him slightly in case all the noise means there's a threat.]

It's so uncool! Unfair to the max! Like, were you all holding out on me or something?!

--Whatever! I'm so gonna find a way cuter one than anybody else did!

She's amazing, of course. I bet it's really hard for all the others who aren't nearly as flawless.

[And this is the reason all Fai's pokémon are spoiled rotten. He'll just indulgently scratch under her chin now and mock pout at Feliks.]

Cuddling and almost-kissing don't count at all? That's incredibly harsh, but very well, you make the rules. [Although he immediately starts unpacking the snacks he's packed, so clearly he isn't too upset.]

Some drink would be really nice. I felt that would be a bit too heavy for the climb. And maybe some Berries?

All of them are flawless! Except Ignacy.

[So his relationship with the Geodude is still a bit rocky. They're not openly hostile most of the time, anymore?]

But Huzar's totally the cutest, aren't you?

[He pats her head a little, too, to her obvious delight.]

Watch her for a sec while I run and get it!

[The moment Feliks slips back inside the house, Huzar wraps her way around Fai's torso, laying her head on his shoulder, humming happily.]

Oh, I meant the other Dragonairs out there, obviously. [He waves a hand airily, laughing.] But yes, I'm pretty sure there are extremely few pokémon in general who are even nearly as cute.

[Look at these boys fawning over one pokémon lady, what are they even.]

[Fai nods and then laughs as Huzar wraps around him, unwrapping one of the many treats he'd brought and holding it up to her, perfectly content with the sunshine on his face and the world in general. Against the blue sky, he notices a recently familiar silhouette, as a friend of his tests out his new wings and apparently - at least - seems to be quite in control of the whole flying thing at present.]

[Huzar gulps down the food, with another happy little sound. Dad brought food! He's so awesome. He deserves a hug!]

[Jadwiga appears on the porch while Feliks is in the kitchen, floating just above the ground and curtseying politely to Fai.]

[Fai laughs softly and gently scratches one of Huzar's fins, bumping his cheek against her. His smile widens even further as Jadwiga appears, and he gracefully lowers his head toward her in the closest thing he can get to a bow while all wrapped up in Huzar and sitting down.]

And look at you, you beautiful thing. [He unpacks another small parcel and holds it out to her, trying to communicate both admiration and an offering, since he knows she'll be picking it up.] Do you want something to eat too, my dear?

[Jadwiga murmurs a little good-morning to Huzar, who trills back at her. She smiles faintly as she accepts the offering of food from Fai. Fai is good people, and generosity is a quality she approves of in a mate for Feliks. Her human, obviously, needs a mate good enough to care for him.]

As she sits down across from Fai, Feliks reappears.]

Oh, hey, there you are, gorgeous! Here, I brought the stuff you asked for.
