[ I forget if there's a thing for action logs but here we go.

Hans is glad to be back in Union-- hell, he's especially glad that he didn't have to lift a finger while he was in Caldera because wow. Hopefully tales of his awesomeness have spread throughout the city by now, but he honestly just wants to take a break.

The best thing to really relax is to shift, obviously. So if you should find yourself walking around Union, you may just run into a cute little Axew that is just walking around with his buddy, Sitron, a Rapidash that looks... well, just like any other Rapidash. So he's laying low. Right.

Shhh, as long as he just goes for a walk people won't know he's a shifter! That's the plan, anyway. I mean, aside from his little pink scarf, he's just like any other pokemon wandering around the city.

Maybe he just got away from his master, that's all. ]

((aka: If you've ever wanted to taunt Hans/have cute pokemon shenanigans, now is the time. Name the place and the time and feel free to bump into him or notice him or whatever floats your boat! ))

[Pamela's walking along when she spots the Rapidash and the little Axew with the pink scarf. It's actually rather adorable, and the scarf means he's probably got a trainer somewhere within Union.

It does have her glancing around looking for where said trainer might be, though.]

Hello there. Where's your trainer?

[ Man, can't a pokemon go out in peace? Hans scoffs, adorable and tiny and cute. Sitron recognizes this girl, though-- which means Hans has to cut him off before he makes a fool of both of them.

Gosh, Sitron. Let an axew squeak in peace. ]

We're just out exploring. Sitron hasn't seen much of the city.

[Sitron? That name sounds familiar. Several people wound up bonding with Ponyta during their visit to Caldera and there was a lot going on, so she doesn't immediately associate the Rapidash with Hans.]

Oh, I see. How is that going for the two of you?

[ Just play it cool, Hans. You're a tiny, adorable Axew. No one needs to be none the wiser. Sitron answers for them this time, looking excited. ]

It's so crowded! Nothing like the desert... There's even people from Caldera here too, huh?

[Pamela suspects nothing. She's just trying to figure out which of the people she spoke to in Caldera that bonded with a Ponyta and then named him Sitron. Lux had a Rapidash, but that doesn't seem right...]

That's right. Mostly children, the elderly, and injured soldiers who are recovering. I imagine they'll want to go home and be with their families soon, but we'll be good hosts until they're ready.

[ Don't think too hard Pamela DON'T DO IT. ]

It's a good thing we won, huh?

Definitely. Things were getting tense there, but between the attacks and the diplomatic efforts, everything turned out all right.

[This is going to bug her until she figures out who their trainer is. She could always ask, but she's usually got a good memory.]

I'm glad everything turned out okay. I hope those Gigas people won't bother us anymore...

[ Says the obviously innocent baby pokemon. ]

Unfortunately, we probably haven't seen the last of them. But with Caldera as an ally, we can band together and win again.

[She's being reassuring, because the Axew, at least, seems rather young and she doesn't want to upset the little one.]

[ Aw, people are so nice. This is a great chance to scout people out, huh? ]

[Pokemon bring out some of her maternal instincts. She sees taking care of them as the responsibility of all Enlightened, regardless of whether one is their trainer or not. Their trainer bears the greatest responsibility, but one should still have general concern for their well being. Speaking of...]

Does your trainer know you're out exploring today?

[With a Rapidash that's new to the area and such a tiny little Axew, she wants to make sure they don't get lost.]

[ Hans nods. He almost wants to say 'more than you know,' but he resists. ]

Yeah! He told us to go explore on our own. Then he'd take us on a tour if we wanted.

[He, huh? Well, that narrows it down since more of the people she'd talked to that bonded with Ponyta were female...aha. Now she knows where the name Sitron sounds so familiar.]

Your trainer's name wouldn't happen to be Hans Westergard, would it?

[ SHIT.....................

He hesitates. It's visible. Stay cool, Hans! ]

H-how'd you know? Are you a friend of his?

[Oops, she didn't mean to alarm the poor little Axew.]

We worked together on the diplomatic negotiations with Gigas and I remembered Sitron's name from the mission in Caldera. I just couldn't remember who his trainer was until you mentioned your trainer was a he.

Well, yeah! He's me and Sitron's trainer. He said since he was taking the day off today, we could get one too.

[Her memory's not perfect, but one needs a reasonably good memory to be as good as she is at the sciences. There's so many long words that aren't part of every day vernacular to memorize along with all sorts of facts that one needs to commit to memory in order to be able to apply to other research.

Pamela prides herself on her memory, which is why it rankles when she can't remember something. She smiles a bit at the two pokemon.]

Well, good for him.

[Reaching into a bag within her purse, she pulls out a couple of fresh berries and offers them.]

Here. A treat for you both on your day off.

[ Hans is reeeally going to need to catch an Axew after this...

He grabs one of the berries and takes a bite while Sitron simply eats it out of her hand. Ugh, berries aren't like, his favorite, but a good pokemon would never turn down free food. ]

I try to treat other people's Pokemon companions the way I'd want my own to be treated.

[She'd want her own to be treated with kindness and for someone to inquire if they were lost if they were wandering around without her in sight. Especially the babies. Her youngest Pokemon only just hatched this week.]

I'd like to think that any responsible trainer would do the same.
