Hans is glad to be back in Union-- hell, he's especially glad that he didn't have to lift a finger while he was in Caldera because wow. Hopefully tales of his awesomeness have spread throughout the city by now, but he honestly just wants to take a break.

The best thing to really relax is to shift, obviously. So if you should find yourself walking around Union, you may just run into a cute little Axew that is just walking around with his buddy, Sitron, a Rapidash that looks... well, just like any other Rapidash. So he's laying low. Right.

Shhh, as long as he just goes for a walk people won't know he's a shifter! That's the plan, anyway. I mean, aside from his little pink scarf, he's just like any other pokemon wandering around the city.

Maybe he just got away from his master, that's all. ]

[ This is ridiculous. Haruka has returned to Union as well, only to discover someone from the racetrack's been trying to get in touch with her. They want her to host a what? But she's retired. That's absurd.

She goes for a walk to clear her head. Which would have worked if she were watching where she was going below and not just above.

Watch out for a pair of very long legs, Hans the Axew. Their owner is lost in melodramatically brooding thoughtfulness. ]

A grass-type deer, who gets a little startled upon almost brushing up against a flaming horse because she isn't paying attention.

When Kika nearly springs back into something else, Maya has to hold her back with her arms around her neck and quiet her.]

Shh-- Kika! C'mon, you're running into people, you almost stepped on that--

[What... what exactly is that? Is that a dragon type?

Maya and Kika both stare down at Hans, completely confused as to what he is.]

[Ruby had been on his way to get berries from the Habitat for making Pokeblocks when he sees the Axew walking around. Well, actually, he sees the Ponyta first. They're so beautiful and graceful... he's wanted one since they came back with them from that Caldera place! He admires the Ponyta from afar before finally seeing the little Dragon Type down beside it as well. Were they friends...? What were the chances two Pokemon wandering around the city together were already bonded? So he comes over, letting his Skitty down from his shoulder to say hello once he was sure her cute little knit cap was on straight.]

Hey, both of you!

[He knows Ponyta will burn him if he tries to pet it right away, so he leans down to Axew's level instead (not hard when you're eleven,) and starts to straighten his little scarf out of habit.]

Did your human friend give you this? It's adorable.

[Hawke of course notices the Rapidash - it's pretty hard to miss, really, what with being a large flaming unicorn and all. Normally he would have carried on walking, but of course Scout chose about that moment to break off from the puppy pack tagging along at his heels to make a beeline for the Rapidash's Vulpix-sized friend, which is of course what she noticed.

Not one to discourage his Pokemon's making new friends, Hawke follows Scout, approaching the pair with a friendly smile.]

Nice weather for a walk, isn't it?

[He's mostly addressing the Rapidash, because Scout is busily saying hello to the small dragon thing, poking her little Vulpix face cutely at him in greeting. Hi! I'm Scout! Who are you?]

[Given what she is, Tiki has a special fondness for young dragons, which she assumes Hans to be. The former Salamence Shifter will smile at the two.]

[Pamela's walking along when she spots the Rapidash and the little Axew with the pink scarf. It's actually rather adorable, and the scarf means he's probably got a trainer somewhere within Union.

It does have her glancing around looking for where said trainer might be, though.]

[Out and about to pick up groceries, Cordelia notices the Rapidash first--it's hard not to, really. It seemed odd, seeing one outside of the stables, especially since most of the Rapidash that had appeared in town had come from those who went to Caldera. As it passes, she looks behind her to catch its Axew companion.

Strange.
