[ I forget if there's a thing for action logs but here we go.

Hans is glad to be back in Union-- hell, he's especially glad that he didn't have to lift a finger while he was in Caldera because wow. Hopefully tales of his awesomeness have spread throughout the city by now, but he honestly just wants to take a break.

The best thing to really relax is to shift, obviously. So if you should find yourself walking around Union, you may just run into a cute little Axew that is just walking around with his buddy, Sitron, a Rapidash that looks... well, just like any other Rapidash. So he's laying low. Right.

Shhh, as long as he just goes for a walk people won't know he's a shifter! That's the plan, anyway. I mean, aside from his little pink scarf, he's just like any other pokemon wandering around the city.

Maybe he just got away from his master, that's all. ]

((aka: If you've ever wanted to taunt Hans/have cute pokemon shenanigans, now is the time. Name the place and the time and feel free to bump into him or notice him or whatever floats your boat! ))

[ Oh no.... Hans can grouch all he want, but actual friendliness is hard to deny. As much as he hates being tiny, he greets Scout with a SUPER CUTE smile. Ugh, no one tell his brothers. ]

I'm Kristoff. [ That's a lie. ] And this is Sitron. [ He motions toward the Rapidash-- well, at least that's true. ]

It's nice to meet you, Kristoff! This is Paladin - [She indicates the Lillipup currently investigating Kristoff's toes] - Sergeant - [The Houndour poking his nose at Kristoff's pink scarf] - And Captain! [The Growlithe who actually seems more interested in Sitron than in Kristoff. Lucky for Kristoff. Probably. Being surrounded by four enthusiastic puppies can be overwhelming, if you're not used to it.]

And our trainer, Garrett. [Last but not least. Hawke's just smiling in amusement and letting Scout do her thing, which she does with enthusiasm.]

Where's your trainer? Are you lost? Do you need help?

[ Yeah, all these dogs... wow, someone has a collection. Poor Sitron looks more afraid to step on anyone than anything. Hans just waves them off-- your concern is wasted on him, unfortunately. ]

It's okay. We're just exploring. Sitron is from the desert, so he hasn't seen all of Union yet.

[hawkethat]

The desert? We haven't been there, yet! [Scout turns her curiosity from Kristoff to Sitron.]

What's it like?

It's great!

[ Sitron whinnies with a smile. Hans has heard this one a million times. ]

There's lots of room to run and it's really hot, which is so nice. It's not as crowded as this place...

[hawkethat]

[As three of the four puppies are fire-type, they think this desert sounds like a wonderful place, and let Hawke know exactly how they feel in a chorus of excited yips and barks. As a shifter himself, he's perfectly understood all of the exchanges thus far, and laughs a little in response to so much puppy enthusiasm all at once.]

I hear it's pretty dangerous in the desert; the pokemon living there are quite strong, aren't they?

[That question is for Sitron and Kristoff.]

[ Sitron puffs up a bit, raising his head proudly. Ah, well at least he has that in common with his master. ]

That's right! I might not look it, but I'm really strong too. Being in Caldera was no problem for me. Or, Hans. I mean, uh...! Kristoff.

[ Sitron you are the worst liar. ]

[hawkethat]

[Being a bad liar isn't anything to be ashamed of. Because lying is wrong, you know!!

Meanwhile, Hawke just tilts his head curiously, looking back and forth between Sitron and Kristoff.]

...Who's Hans? Another friend?

[ Hans cuts in before Sitron can do any more damage to his absolutely flawless reputation. ]

Hans is our trainer! Caldera was no problem for him either, thanks to us.

[ It's only... a partial lie? ]

[hawkethat]

[So flawless. Very sparkling. Wow.

Not that Hawke knows any of that. Lucky you, Hans.]

I heard it was a pretty rough situation all around. It was good to hear it had been solved without too much trouble. [He pauses] For a given value of "trouble," anyway.

[ingoodhans]

[ Such prince.

Hans keeps it up, Sitron nodding along with whatever he says. ]

The important thing is those mean Gigas people went home!

[ They'll be back, though.... And then Union will be looking at an army of Tevinter Magisters imperialist jerkfaces. A huge army. Won't that be fun? ]

For the moment. I kind of doubt they're going to stay there for long, though.

[Jeez, he doesn't want to bust this little guy's bubble, but it's better to be realistic about this stuff...right?

Anyway, bring on the Tevinter Magisters imperialist jerkfaces. Hawke will eat them for breakfast. Or something. Maybe feed some to his dogs. Possibly set them all on fire.]

[ Like a proper Fereldan. ]

Oh. [ Hans looks away, understandably distraugght. Yeah, he heard Valeria talk; he knows it won't be long. Good to know Hawke has a good head on his shoulders, at least. Anyone who doesn't think Gigas is coming for their heads is nothing short of delusional. ]

Do you think they're out there looking for us?

[hawkethat]

[Mmm, char-broiled Magisters...]

I'd be surprised if they weren't.

[Actually, he'd be surprised if they didn't already know Union's location. It couldn't be that difficult to track the interlopers from there back across the desert from Caldera, after all. But, in the interest of not worrying the little guy too badly, he's not going to say that.]

But there are a lot of strong trainers, here; it sounds like you've got a good one, yourself. If they do turn up here, they'll be in for a nasty surprise.

[And those are his big brother instincts kicking in...]

[ Hans nods, pumping that cute little fist in the air. Sounds like Hans is gonna have a lot of training to do... ]
