action; TINY DRAGON-TYPE AND YOU

[ I forget if there's a thing for action logs but here we go.

Hans is glad to be back in Union-- hell, he's especially glad that he didn't have to lift a finger while he was in Caldera because wow. Hopefully tales of his awesomeness have spread throughout the city by now, but he honestly just wants to take a break.

The best thing to really relax is to shift, obviously. So if you should find yourself walking around Union, you may just run into a cute little Axew that is just walking around with his buddy, Sitron, a Rapidash that looks... well, just like any other Rapidash. So he's laying low. Right.

Shhh, as long as he just goes for a walk people won't know he's a shifter! That's the plan, anyway. I mean, aside from his little pink scarf, he's just like any other pokemon wandering around the city.

Maybe he just got away from his master, that's all. ]

((aka: If you've ever wanted to taunt Hans/have cute pokemon shenanigans, now is the time. Name the place and the time and feel free to bump into him or notice him or whatever floats your boat! ))

Wow, that's Axew to you.

[ Shit, Hans can't help but be kind of a jerk when he's in this form-- maybe it's the added anonymity. Yeah, let's go with that. He glares a bit, expecting some kind of apology. His rapidash honestly doesn't mind at all, but y'know. He's trying to take a day off, geez! ]

[Wow, small thing, you're suddenly 20% less cute.]

I'm sorry! [Kika's apology is a bit more immediate than Maya wants it to be, and Maya has to roll her eyes a little.]

She just wasn't watching where she was going. You're not hurt, right?

[ The tiny Axew shrugs, shaking his adorable, spiked head. Sitron apologizes for his "friend's" attitude with a whinny. It's actually kind of funny, with the rapidash being practically twice his size. ]

It's fine... I mean, I'm fine. No harm done.

Good. [You're rude, Hans. Maya's attention is all on Sitron now.]

You're alright, too? [Sitron is clearly the leader of this pair, right?] Sorry if we got you off track.

[Kika, at least, seems to still be interested in figuring out what the hell an Axew is. Her branches will shade Hans for a moment as she leans over to sniff at him.]

[ O-oh, this is a funny mix-up, isn't it? Sitron smiles. He's way nicer than Hans. ]

It's no problem! Han-- I mean, um. My friend is kinda... grouchy...

[ Hans squeaks, shuffling out of Kika's reach. You're gonna blow his cover, Sitron! ]

Oh, I noticed. [ Maya giggles a little. ] I've never seen p--

[What.

Was that a squeak.

Both Maya and Kika turn to face Hans, and Kika steps closer to sniff him again, trying to get a repeat of that squeak.]

[ Hans inches back. Normally he has no problem being the center of attention, but this is not the kind he wants. He's not supposed to be cute, dammit! ]

I'm not grouchy, either. You were just rude! I'm not a "thing!"

[ Sounds like: Axewww axew axew!! Seriously have you seen how cute Axew are. ]

[ Maya has to cover her mouth. ]

Kika just hops a pace back, minding not to bump into anyone.]

[ Hans pouts with a huff. Combined with his little scarf, it is the cutest thing ever. Even Sitron can kinda sympathize with Maya here. ]

What kind of pokemon are you, anyway?

Um, me? I'm not a pokémon, I'm just a ghost-psychic type.

[Both of them realise then that maybe he was talking about Kika, who raises a hoof and kind of awkwardly answers--]

And I'm a Sawsbuck. As of yesterday.

Evolving must be nice...

[ Hans can't help but look from Kika to Sitron, glaring. Yeeeeah, someone's jealous. ]

[A bit snarkily, both the medium and her pokémon answer at once.

Sorry, Hans, they're not impressed with your attitude.]

[ Hans GLARES--- does he know Leer? Because now would be the time.

Except Sitron totally cuts in and bumps his hoof on Hans' back. He doesn't even need to say anything, really. The meaning is clear. Why can't you be nicer, Hans....?

Seriously, the poor horse always ends up working damage control. ]

Sorry, I guess it's kind of a sore subject with him.

At least he's got a good friend to take care of 'im.

[Attention back on Sitron, Maya crosses her arms and leans against Kika.]

Where's your trainer at?

[ For Savior's sake, Sitron, you are the worst liar. Now it's Hans' turn to cut in... and totally ignore all that stuff Maya said about him! ]

He's back home. We're just out exploring today.

Oh, I see.

[Simple enough. Maya's weird; she takes it for what it is.]

So, what're your names?

This is Sitron. And I'm Kristoff.

[ That's totally his name, yeah. Y'know, Hans can be pretty okay when it comes to lying and being nice to his Rapidash, at least. ]

Sitron is from the desert, so I was showing him around.

Huh! No wonder. I mean, I've never seen a rapidash around there, so.

[That's almost nice, little thing.]

Aren't you sweet, being a tour guide.

Yeah! I've lived here a long time, so I know this place really well.

[ He practically buffs up with pride at that. Gosh, he can be as show-offy as he wants when he doesn't have to worry about keeping up that perfect reputation of his. ]

There'll probably be a lot more rapidash around the city soon. I think they were popular with the people in Caldera.

[ Pretty damn knowledgeable for a pokemon, huh. ]

[He... sure is. Maya's going to play that angle for a bit, no big deal.]

Wow, you're pretty smart. I guess you were helping your friend up in Caldera?

I had to help with the supply lines, so, I mean. I'm a little unsure of what went down... Think you could help me?

[ Ain't missin' a beat. ]

That's right. Despite my looks, I'm pretty strong!

[ Which is true, though Sitron rolls his eyes a bit. He's technically stronger than Hans, y'know. Don't see him showing off. ]

Basically Team Evolution negotiated a meeting between us and the lady in charge of the Gigas army. Thanks to the attack on the supply lines, we were able to prove that we could put a major wrench in their plan to take over Caldera, so they gave up!

[mastermedium]

--Wow, and I bet a strong guy like you was tons of help, right?

[Maya puts a hand on her chin, grinning.]

Were you on the attack, or the negotiation?

My trainer was with the negotiators. It's thanks to them that Gigas pulled back!

[ Finally, a place he can gloat... with the excuse that he's proud of his Trainer, that is. ]

Whoa, your trainer's pretty important, then!

[This time, she's actually legitimately surprised.]

How'd he do it? Is he like, a commander or something?

That's right! He's really important. And really cool.

[ Oh man, the ego on this Axew... ]

I mean, it took a of of bluffing, and the Gigas lady was really rude, but he stuck with it and sent her packing! Uh, him and everybody else...
