Not yet--and that's suspicious in itself.

I refuse to believe Gigas didn't catch Caldera's transmission. The fact that we haven't seen any scouts is troubling... Either there are none, or there are some but we do not see them. Neither suggestion bodes well for us.

[kaidont]

If we're lucky, they just didn't think we'd catch it. They know how far our signal went before we expanded.

... but I'm worried about Union. It's a good thing we're splitting up. If we didn't have the Marker... Either there'd be too few of us to make a difference in Caldera... or we'd be leaving Union defenseless.

[And he's paranoid enough to wonder if that was the point]

... I just hope we don't have any moles. If they don't know about the expansion and the marker yet, we need to keep that advantage.

[And if he's telling you this, it means he's not suspecting you]

The council should never have given them the warp band. Technology is easy enough to imitate and develop. We should keep quiet about the marker for the sake of preventing them from copying that as well.

We cannot revert what has been done. If so, it must be our goal to develop faster than them. We gave them an advantage, so we must make sure to stay a step ahead now.

At least we nabbed some of their technology. But they were probably planning for that.
