Satsuki seems to be even more frowny since the Caldera announcement. Less than even an hour later, she video-messages both Kaido and Sanageyama, her expression even more stern and resolute than ever.]

Nikaido, Sanageyama. I have a favour to ask of both of you. You must have heard the news already, and I am sure you both realize I shall be going there. Sanageyama, I expect you to come with me. Nikaido... Do what you want. But I need both of you to meet me as soon as possible outside Union, close to the walls. Be at your best. There is something I need to try.

[The message ends there. And when you two arrive outside Union, she'll be waiting there, easy enough to spot with her usual white clothes. Not as usual this time, though - unlike most of the time, she's wearing Junketsu. Which might give you an idea of what she wanted to try.]

Consider it done. The Guard is being asked to help in handling any refugees that might be coming our way, so I can still fulfill my duty. And you can expect me outside shortly enough.

[Kaido doesn't answer via video; he didn't quite trust himself to. You'll get a text response stating "I'll be there" though, and sure enough, not too long after Sanageyama, he turns up, looking grim]

[She raises Bakuzan, still sheathed, and points it at the both guys.]

I want you to fight me. For... ten minutes. I must test my strength before attempting what I aim to do. Don't hold back.

[Grinning, Sanageyama draws his shinai. He's definitely going to try to enjoy this.]

No holding back from fighting type moves either then?

[He's asking to make sure, but he's instinctively dropped into a fighting stance.

Well, the good side of this is, it'll hopefully take some of the edge off him]

[And, with that, she drops into a fighting stance as well, raising her sword and drawing it back.]

[Sanageyama suddenly leaps in, keeping his eyes open to foresee what she'll do and adjust accordingly.]

[Well, if Sanageyama's attacking from the front, he's going to move right behind him, and dodge to the side at the last moment so he can get you from behind.

And anchor his foot into the ground and use the momentum to deliver a spinkick towards your upper back, to make dodging Sanageyama harder]

She raises Bakuzan, as if aiming to deflect Sanageyama's blow... but once Kaido appears from behind him, the both guys are treated to a bright flash of light.

Satsuki used Mirror Shot!

She puts less power into the energy impact of it, sacrificing it to make the flash brighter instead, aiming to momentarily blind them. Her next move will depend on the two's reactions.]

[Sanageyama lands on one knee, turning away from the light. He raises his shinai to block as he gets on his feet again and assumes a defensive stance until his eyes recover.]

[Hrr--Kaido's getting used to that move by now, and he was thankfully facing partly away, but his sight's still blurry, and he'll need longer to recover because he's sensitive to it.

Thankfully, it doesn't break his momentum, and he finishes his kick, before dropping down to roll--he won't stay on the ground if you have your sword. Even though he knows you won't run him through, his instincts are kicking in]
