First Bloom~

[Having just officially gotten her Warp Band, Ceireia feels it's only right that she introduce herself. It'd be nice to see all the other faces out there. All the other trainers and their Pokémon partners.

As she turns on the video feed, you might catch a glimpse of her Flabébé peeking out of her hair above her ear. Above the other is another flower, a hibiscus today. Ceireia gives a bright smile as she speaks.]

Hello everyone! I think I'm finally ready to begin really venturing outside the city. There's a lot out there to explore, right? I'm somewhat trained in first aid, and I'm very knowledgeable about plants, so if anyone needs a partner to explore with, I'd be glad to tag along!

[There's a brief pause. She's forgetting something. OH.]

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Ceireia Shadiene. It's nice to meet you all!

So you did have some sort of idea. [why would you say otherwise?]

I just don't know where I'm going yet.

If you're confident enough, you could venture further afield.

Like where? I've heard about the island to the south, which seems like it would be a neat place to visit, but I have no means of getting there yet.

[well then] The forest and the shrines should be enough to hold your interest for a bit, I would think. They're close enough that you're not too far - relatively speaking - from Union if you run into trouble.

The shrines do sound promising. You wouldn't happen to know if anyone else is traveling in the direction of one of them, do you?

Not at the moment, no. However, I do have a couple of hours to spare, if you'd like the company.

That would be great! As long as it isn't too much trouble.

I have a few errands to finish up, but how about I meet you outside the main gates in about half an hour?

[she mainly wants to see how her newly evolved Budew fares in battle]

That sounds fine to me. I'll find something to keep me occupied in the meantime.

[Like playing with one of her Pokémon.]

[and true to her word, she shows up half an hour later.

Sup?] I don't believe I introduced myself properly. I'm Michiru Kaioh.

[Sure enough, Ceireia is waiting patiently, all geared up and ready to go. She gets up from where she was sitting and extends a hand. Her Flabébé peeks out of her hair to peer curiously at the newcomer.]

It's nice to meet you. I'm Ceireia.

[she'll shake that hand, and then gesture at the Roselia skipping up towards them.]

A pleasure. And this is Lullaby, Lulu for short.

[Roselia beams up at Ceireia and the Flabebe. Hi!!]

[Ceireia points up at the little flower Pokemon in her hair.]

That's Eden. My other is sleeping in my bag. Her name is Nyx.

[She returns that smile, and Flabebe sort of waves at the Roselia.]

I take it you've been to the shrines before?

Yes. I'll accompany you to one of them, but then I have other matters to attend to.

[alright so] Do you have a preference?

How about the Forest Shrine?

That works for me. Shall we?

[a nod at her Roselia and then she starts heading unerringly towards the Forest Shrine. Roselia follows with a skip in her step, scattering a few rose petals here and there.]

Depending on what shows up, would a tag team battle work out for you?

[Ceireia keeps right up, not wanting to get left behind or anything. As they continue on, the hibiscus flower in her hair changes from red to white slowly.

She pauses at the question, but nods.]

I don't see why not. My brother and I were quite a team.

Your brother couldn't join you today?

[she moves at a steady enough pace, quietly making sure that everybody is keeping up]

[[ooc: what would you like them to fight against?]]

Family business. He doesn't have much time to go venturing off, unfortunately.

[Otherwise she'd have no need to ask for people to travel with.]

[[ooc: I requested a Scatterbug on the maps post, so we can go with that, or just something random.]]

[that just gets a nod]

I'm lucky to have a bit of free time on my hands right now. Otherwise, it's just one thing after another. [a smile] Things seemed to have calmed down considerably, at least.

[and that's a small rustle in the bushes up ahead. Well trained, Roselia immediately stops and slides into a more defensive pose.]

[[ooc: works for me!]]

I can understand that feeling. I got lucky. I'd like to try and keep busy, though. Having someone with medical training along on an expedition is helpful, right?

[She certainly hopes so. She's sort of depending on it. But the rustling in the bushes catches her attention for the moment. Ceireia doesn't settle into any sort of stance or anything though. She just waits for whatever it is to reveal itself.

...and out of the bushes comes a little Scatterbug. Not the most impressive encounter, but hey, you've gotta start somewhere.]

Oh. Isn't it kind of cute?

You don't understand how useful somebody like that is. [but anyway.

She gestures at the bug.] Would you like to do the honors?

[that is, handle the Scatterbug however you would like.] Lulu, stand by, please.

[Roselia hops on over to Michiru's side, in a more relaxed posture. The Scatterbug watches the proceedings warily, with the barest hint of curiosity.]

Well, there are many Enlightened who're much stronger than I am. [And probably much more suitable to have along for the ride.]

Alright! [She practically beams at the chance to bond with another Pokémon. While her specialty is obviously plant Pokémon, Bug types are important too!

Rather than prepare to attack or defend or anything, she drops to her knees...and starts trying to speak to it. There's a pause, but Ceireia manages to slip into a language of clicks and other odd sounds.]

Hello there! It's okay. You can come closer.

[Michiru watches with interest, but she's mostly keeping an eye on their surroundings.

Scatterbug jumps a little when Ceireia dropped so suddenly to her knees, but. Well. Nothing seems to be trying to eat it and it is curious enough to stick around.

It takes a step forward. And then another step, when it isn't attacked.] Scaaaa bu? [who are you?]
