Who: Everyone!
What: Brave New World had it's beach episode. It's time for the first hot springs episode in this game to celebrate it's discovery!
Where: Scorched Forest - Hot Springs
When: Week 18 Weekend | Early Afternoon to the Evening
Warnings: Potential nudity and fights if someone get caught peeping. Let's try to keep it PG-13 in here.

[With the recent discovery of the hot springs, a group of citizens in Union decided to come together to set up an open event for everyone in the city who wishes to not only to check out and explore the springs, but to relax from the everyday life in Union. It is open to the general public so everyone is welcome!

The party area is obviously set up with decorations and other party requirements plus mostly cleared of any wild Pokémon. However, wild Pokémon are still wandering around so expect a Slakoth to swim with you or an Aipom steal food while you are not paying attention. There are cloth walls set up for more private areas and tents are available for changing into bathing suits, towels, or just go naked. It's recommended that you do wear something, but nobody is going to stop you if you go commando.

It's certainly warm to hot in this area for obvious reasons, but it shouldn't be too uncomfortable unless you have a Fire weakness. No matter where you are, the springs are giving off a relaxing air. So please, enjoy yourselves.]

Have you been in here a while?

[ You're so flushed. Next to Haruka, Cubchoo takes a gulp of air. Not much longer! She will attain beauty, grace, and resistance by testing herself in this warm environment! ] Cub!

Um, a-a little while...

[Chie glances back toward Haruka. And hey, wait a sec. Through the steam, it almost looks like...

...nah, that can't be.]

Better time yourself. [ Haruka shifts in the water to get more comfortable. There's a glimpse of that whatever-it-is again. ] People who boil too long start seeing things, kitten.

[ And that's it for Cubchoo, who takes a gasp and clambers out. Heaven forbid she - she - hallucinate! ]

Hey...

[Chie blinks, rubbing her eyes before leaning forward and peering through the steam.]

W-wait, you're--!

[Oh my god.

OH MY GOD.

And now her cheeks are redder than ever.]

You okay?

[ Apparently clueless, here. Haruka leans forward to check up on Chie, leaving absolutely no doubt about what Chie's seeing.

Or thinks she's seeing. Who knows. ]

[Yeah, she is definitely seeing what she thought she was seeing a second ago.]

I'm, uh... a little dizzy. I think.

You'd better get out.

[ And here's Haruka, standing all the way up, water sloshing as she moves towards Chie to help guide the other girl out of the hot springs. Turns out she was wearing a towel. Who knew? ] I brought extra towels. You can lie down and recover there.

Yeah... maybe I should.

[Chie sighs, standing up and stepping out of the spring.]

I'm sorry, I didn't know.

[Because even though she's got a towel on, at this point it's easy enough to tell.]

I feel like an idiot.

[ As promised, Haruka brings Chie a towel and spreads another one out in case the girl wants to lie down. ] No worries. Nobody really did till recently.

[ Or were you not talking about safe hot springs procedures? ]

[Yeah... she's just gonna do that for a sec. Cool down a little. It won't take her long, being half Ice type.]

Well, at least it wasn't just me...

Can I get you anything to drink?

[ Apparently she really did come prepared (more like she brought along an Ice-type herself, which does wonders for packing beverages). Such a gentleman - oh, wait.

Cubchoo comes trotting up as well, having discreetly shaken herself off where no one could see her. Why is her Trainer tending to a human? ] Cub?

Just some water, I guess.

[Chie turns her head to the side, smiling a little.]

Hey there, little guy.

[ Sh-she's being addressed! This nervous jump might have gone unnoticed if Cubchoo didn't basically have a pendulum hanging from her nose at all times. Oops. ] Ch-choo.

[ She attempts a little curtsy while Haruka returns with the water, at which point she goes to hide behind her Trainer. Haruka, meanwhile, offers Chie the cup. ] Drink slowly. We can't have you getting a headache, too.

[Haha, gross. It's still cute, though. Chie laughs a little.]

[Sitting up as the water arrives, she gladly drinks it down.]

Whew... nice and cool.

[ Haruka kneels next to Chie to continue checking up on her. (Fortunately, her towel seems to be held on by ~~shoujo magic~~ very tight folds.) What can she do.....right, get Chie focusing on things. Help her get her bearings again. ]

How's the training going?

[ Speaking of bears, Cubchoo is peering out again. You're giving off familiar, cold vibes, now that they're both out of the water, odd human. It feels like home. ]

[~~Damn you, shoujo magic.~~ Chie seems to be doing better now that she's calmed down from the extreme embarrassment from before, and also now that she's out of the water.]

Good! Morgiana's been showing me some things. I'm not quite kicking boulders in half yet, but I'm not giving up!

[Haruka may notice that Chie's feet are pretty banged up from the effort. Her other half is Fighting type, so it's not affecting her as badly as it might most others, but there are still some nasty looking bruises and cuts.]

Hey, c'mon over, it's okay!

[She holds her hand out for the Cubchoo.]

[ Haruka notes Chie's feet just at about the same time she realizes Cubchoo is using her as a shield. You're really pushing yourself....While it's important to take care of your body, the dedication's admirable.

But first, bear. Cubchoo is shrinking behind her again, so clearly the only thing for Haruka to do is silently get up and move away, pushing the bear toward Chie in the process. Go socialize. ] Shy kid.

Cub!! [ Oh, no, she's - she's exposed! And with such a terrible mess on her face, too...

Cubchoo picks up a handkerchief that had been conveniently lying on a folded-up scarf (ladies accessorize) and begins frantically wiping herself off, head turned away. Chie can't see her, Chie can't see her!

When she turns back around her face is clear. For about three seconds. Until she steps forward. ] Cubchoo.

[ ....noooo. ]

[Chie laughs, smiling back at the little bear.]

It's okay, I know you can't help it.

[She reaches out to pat it on the head. As an Ice type, it can probably feel the slight body temperature difference between Chie and other humans. It's only maybe a degree or two lower, but still.]

[ Yes, you are nice and cold. Cubchoo flinches, but...this touch isn't bad. She would actually like to grab this person's hand and keep it there, but she has a feeling a grown-up lady wouldn't do something like that.

So instead she inches a bit closer, still bashful. ] Cub...?

[ Now it's Haruka's turn to laugh. How cute! ] She learns fast. Are your Pokémon around, too?

Aww, she's cute!

[Chie will just continue happily petting the little bear.]

No, not today. I thought it might be a little crowded already, and half of them don't do so well in water anyway.

[ C-cute? Cubchoo's temperature rises again. She got called...ah. Today is a wonderful day, and yet she's not sure how to accept a compliment gracefully. So she scuffs one foot-paw over the other, embarrassed.

It's hard to tell whether Haruka's grinning about Chie or the cub. Probably both. ] You take good care of them.

[ And if your own feet are any indication, you push yourself a little harder. ]

I've always had kind of a talent for training.

[Chie smiles at the compliment, and also at the Cubchoo. How does she have so much swag with other peoples' Pokemon? It is an eternal mystery.]

That'll pay off. [ Cubchoo wanders over to cling to Haruka again, but this time with a very pleased look on her face. Did you see? Did you see? She was called cute! Hey, did you see?

...yes, Cubchoo, she saw. The bear gets another headpat, then Haruka turns back to Chie. ] Are you feeling any better?

Yeah... I think I'm all right now. Thanks.

[Still a little embarrassed, but she'll get over it. At least Haruka was nice about it.]

[ That she was. Well, there's always the chance she didn't realize what your problem really was, but the world may never know which applies.

Standing up, she grins. ] Take care of yourself. Your Pokémon will worry otherwise.

[ Haruka winks down at Chie over her toweled but definitely not-masculine figure. ] And so will I.
