What: Brave New World had it's beach episode. It's time for the first hot springs episode in this game to celebrate it's discovery!

When: Week 18 Weekend | Early Afternoon to the Evening
Warnings: Potential nudity and fights if someone get caught peeping. Let's try to keep it PG-13 in here.


[With the recent discovery of the hot springs, a group of citizens in Union decided to come together to set up an open event for everyone in the city who wishes to not only to check out and explore the springs, but to relax from the everyday life in Union. It is open to the general public so everyone is welcome!

The party area is obviously set up with decorations and other party requirements plus mostly cleared of any wild Pokémon. However, wild Pokémon are still wandering around so expect a Slakoth to swim with you or an Aipom steal food while you are not paying attention. There are cloth walls set up for more private areas and tents are available for changing into bathing suits, towels, or just go naked. It's recommended that you do wear something, but nobody is going to stop you if you go commando.

It's certainly warm to hot in this area for obvious reasons, but it shouldn't be too uncomfortable unless you have a Fire weakness. No matter where you are, the springs are giving off a relaxing air. So please, enjoy yourselves.]

[Sadly, there is someone here who isn't going remotely near the water, nor even dressed for such an occasion.

Itsuki's off to the side of the general area, steering clear of the water's edge. She came here earlier in the week, rather excited about discovering something new and even found a new friend in a Growlithe too, but this was about relaxing. And more than that, this was about changing clothes and picking gender-separated springs, something that she honestly did not feel comfortable one bit.

So for now she's going to stay here, and hopefully just watch over things and make sure any wandering or wild Pokemon don't get into too much trouble. Her companions though, a Shinx and a Growlithe, seem to eager to play around, chasing each other in every direction and leaping (or crashing) into other patrons.]

[Michiru waltzes past, seemingly completely at home here. Her Kirlia follows sedately, shooting disdainful looks at the gamboling Pokemon.

Itsuki gets a perfunctory smile because hey, your Pokemon are kinda cute and. Wait.

...

Michiru's smile inches up a notch.] Not having fun?

[The Shinx just pounces on the Growlithe, causing him to topple over onto his back. She then pounces on his belly, but he seems a bit distracted by the lady talking to their trainer and that Kirlia who keeps glaring at them.

....Watch out, Waltz, or someone may toss or chase you into the water!

Itsuki shakes her head, finally noticing that she's being talked to, and she'll smile at Michiru like nothing's wrong.] Oh no, I'm perfectly fine! Someone has to make sue that everyone is safe and has a good time.

[Totally not the point of being here, Itsuki.]

[after the initial show of disapproval, Waltz doesn't even bother looking at the other two Pokemon. She turns her head away, eyes closed, the very picture of sophistication and grace.

...since she's not looking, it should be easy enough to headbutt her into the water. You two might have a fight on your hands afterwards, but at least her Trainer will intervene if it comes to that.]

With all these Trainers and Pokemon around, I think we'll be fine if you took a break.

[Ohoho, and that's what Panne plans on doing. The Shinx smiles and bounds off of the Growlithe, and charging forward with all her might, she's going to headbutt that snobby Psychic into the water.

Unfortunately that means that Panne is dangerously close to falling into the water herself, balancing her weight on her front legs and trying to steady herself.]

Perhaps. [Itsuki's just going to look away, and turn a little pink.] I didn't really... bring anything with me though.

[the noise warns Waltz that something is up, but they're much too close for her to do anything but turn towards Panne, eyes comically wide.]

I have extra towels I can lend you if you -

[Aaand Kirlia falls in with a loud and definitely ungraceful splash! In her desperation, she lashes out with an unfocused bout of her psychic powers.

...Ara, Waltz.]

[And that last burst of energy from Waltz makes the Shinx loose her balance and tumble into the water herself. Her Growlithe friend is right on her heels, leaning over the edge of the pool to make sure she's okay. But being a fire type, he's not about to jump in and save Panne.]

Th-thank you for the offer, but the towels aren't quite the issue.

[Eventually Chie makes her way to the common area, and it doesn't take her long to spot the one person here who isn't dressed for a nice hot soak.]

Hey there! Not a big fan of hot springs?

[They don't know each other, but there's no reason she can't be friendly and strike up a conversation, right?]

[Oh man, it looks that way, doesn't it? Itsuki looks at herself and then laughs nervously at Chie. Gotta think of some excuse, quick!]

Not at all! I came here earlier in the week and found a new friend. I just... simply didn't expect a lot of people to be participating here and forget what I needed at home.

[Saviour help her, she is such a terrible liar.]

[Good thing Chie generally takes things at face value.]

Oh man, I know the feeling. I forget my school books at home at least twice a week.

[Thank the Saviour. Luckily enough that's a good subject distraction for her!]

That's not good! Do your friends let you borrow your notes?

Yeah, I usually manage to get stuff done at the last minute. But hey, D is for diploma, right?

[She opens her mouth, but thinking about it she closes it. She's not exactly here to lecture anyone.

But Ds Chie. D. It is so not for diploma.]

N-not exactly. [She clears her throat.] Depending on the profession you want, you'll need higher.

[Chie laughs a little, scratching at her cheek.]

Yeah... I know. It's not really that bad. I've just never been great at taking tests. And I've been trying harder lately since I decided to try for the Swords of the Savior.

[That's fair enough in Itsuki's opinion. Not everyone is a good test taker, but still.]

They do require high marks in general, and good skills with Pokémon. There are some programs out there that can help with study skills if you're interested.

I only have a few months left before I graduate, so I guess I'd better get cracking, huh?

Yeah. I've been training really hard lately, so I thought it would be a good chance to get a good soak in and let my muscles relax a little.

An excellent idea. Hot springs are perfect for something like that.

I'm so glad they were discovered. There isn't anything like it in a Union. Nothing that isn't Pokémon powered anyways.

Me too. I'm definitely going to have to come back here a lot. I mean, I knew trying to kick through rocks would be hard, but my feet have been killing me.

[Chie laughs a little sheepishly, glancing down and flexing her toes.]

Maybe I'll see you here again sometime, though? You'll have to remember your swimsuit!

[Yeah, she's really cracking up here. Because, chances are, she'll just "forget" again.

Hence, her nervous laughter.]

M-maybe. I definitely will come back though. This place is far too interesting to leave alone. Or maybe we'll just see each other in the city, if you consider my offer.
