Bar Crawlin'
It's Friday night and Ezreal decided to take the esteemed Luxanna Crownguard to a bar generally frequented by Delvers, Guardsmen, Rangers, and all sorts of other rough-and-tumble men and women who make up Union's thriving blue-collar community. The bar, of course, is quite a dive, with loud, boisterous people having just finished a day's work coming to take a load off and get frightfully hammered.
[This is an open mingle post for anybody who might, for whatever reason, find themselves in a dirty, grimy bar full of loud sweaty people on a Friday night. There will be mingling and, of course, the inevitable bar fight. Enlightened are encouraged to use their powers interestingly but remember - no lethal damage! It's all in good fun. Overenthusiastic enlightened may find themselves responsible for large chunks of the repair bill for the bar, be warned.
Also of note: legal drinking age is 18 years old but this bar is likely reasonably easy to get into if you're a bit underage.]

Open! - Flirtation highly encouraged.
She did her best to keep herself from getting smashed, as she wanted to have fun, not get in too much trouble. Unless it was the right sort for her. But she's dressed in pinks and blues, with her hair up, and was spinning in a barstool as she waited for a drink... or someone to talk to!

I just think what you'd wear, and do absolutely nothing like that!

*You're making it so much better by complaining.*
And most of the Pokemon aren't dangerous for me, maybe you need to train more. Or work on your communication skills.
*Imogen picks her outfits very carefully... then puts on whatever, but usually it makes Pokemon see her as less of a threat. Usually.*

And I don't wear my fancy stuff while I'm in the old city unless I'm having a picnic with some of the locals.

She'd picked a sweet tasting drink and was nursing it. When she spotted Imogen, she strolled over to greet her.
"Imogen, hello," she said with a pleasant smile.

Imogen smiled warmly, but did that thing where she greets everyone politely and by full name and title, if they have either. Her drink choice was decided by color, lime green, but it was pleasing and not too alcoholic for her.
"What brings you to this drinking establishment?"

Her parents had never been the most attentive, but now that she was a young adult, they always seemed to find the time to drop hints that they thought it was high time that she look into getting married. Even if they didn't bother asking about her research or about her travels more than half the time.
"I just didn't specify who I was meeting," she said with a wry smile.

"She hasn't tried it since I brought a barmaid to a party and made out with her in an unlocked guest room. If that helps."
no subject
"If they ever become outright pushy rather than mildly annoying, I'll definitely keep that in mind."
She was attracted to both men and women, and would return the flirtations of either as long as the individual flirting was attractive and not in a committed relationship that she knew of. Pamela didn't care much about societal expectations beyond wanting to be an accomplished researcher who was good to her pokemon, but she had no desire to be a relationship wrecker.

"I'd offer my assistance in that, but even the blackest Mareep in in the noble houses wouldn't have the same reaction as bringing a commoner home."
Imogen spun lightly in her chair and sipped at her drink some more. She'd never seriously considered Pamela as a romantic entanglement, dating among the noble houses, while interesting in theory, became too complicated. Her reputation she didn't mind, but she knew not everyone would handle the whispers with the same level of not punching anyone in the face that she did.

"That's a very good point. Knowing my parents, they'd be far more distressed about the commoner part. After all, as long as I was being discreet, a relationship with a noble girl could just be interpreted publicly as friendship. But people would talk if I found someone from the lowest social classes..."

"I became a Delver, Natalie's answer to most of my activities is... 'community outreach.' Until I get caught with one somewhere compromising. I just wish they would just let go, and let me have my own life without everyone judging..."

I could have sworn I had tagged this.
"Imogen Moreno." She chose to call her by her first name when teasing, and while that wasn't quite what Lux had in mind, she still smirked. "What are you doing here?"
No worries
Still, this was a lesson the girl had to learn. "Having a quiet drink in a loud bar. Why are you here Lux whoneverpickedalastname," Imogen said the entire phrase as one word, and as if it was Lux's surname. This doesn't mean anything, just that Imogen is especially weird tonight.

She chuckled at Imogen's name comment. "How can you have a quiet drink in a loud bar, isn't that an oxymoron?" She is legitimately curious about this one, sitting down to wait for an answer.

That play of words was pretty transparent and shame on Lux for not seeing it coming.

"Here, here anything can happen! The people are far more... alive, even if their clothes aren't as... you know, classy." Imogen eyes Lux a moment, gauging how much the girl has had, and deciding to see just how far gone she is, "This includes a few... illicit affairs, the kind our parents would frown at."
no subject
"Now I want to see some of these people in pretty dresses." Wholly out of place, but it might serve to be amusing. Lux nods. "I agree! Illicit affairs?" It's hard to say if it's her natural, although slightly crumbling naivete that fuels that question, or somewhat limited cognitive reasoning.

Imogen was trying to think of a classy and elegant way to frame something that, by its nature, defied the rules of class and was rarely elegant. Well, maybe once, but she was a painter and had an artistic eye. And far, far from what she needed to say, "Lux, many people come to bars looking for people to have sex with. I do it from time to time, when the mood suits me. Not every time, as I do like this place, and the barkeeper is really nice!"
Now to see how drunk Lux is, as Imogen just out and said it.
