[There is a rather large Froakie -- and perhaps with a greener tinge than is ordinary, for those familiar with the species -- looking up at the Agricultural Tower. He's staring up at it, with a sheathed Honedge in hand. It's... well, it's bigger than he is tall.]

[Frog stares up at it for a moment, before he sighs.]

How does one hope to get food out of that?

[The question is to everyone and no one at once. This is no ordinary Froakie, either. He's wearing a dark brown cloak. And... armor. After a moment, though, a fly floats by. Until his tongue whips out, and he eats it.]

[Crunch.]

[What a coincidence, another Pokémon carrying a Honedge is nearby...although it's actually a Doublade carrying half of herself...look, it's complicated.]

[She's all set to launch into a detailed explanation, since this confused her too, but then he snaps up that fly.]

Er...*ahem*

Are you sure that's going to be a problem for you, sir?

Mm? Ah, these. [snap goes the tongue and he gets another fly]

Aye, 'tis a way to feed myself... but I'll need many and more flies to truly feel satiated. 'Tis better to enjoy a hearty meal, is it not?

That's a sentiment I can certainly agree with. Berries were quite unsatisfying for similar reasons.

At any rate, however, getting food from the agricultural tower to a plate is a long process that usually involves several people. It's best to seek out a friend or a restaurant who will prepare the food for you.

I see... then all of the food is raw?

[The Froakie frowns. He isn't happy about that.]

Aye, 'tis better to have a restaurant, then. Or to have it cooked. I haven't cooked in a time.

This is where the raw food is, although some of the restaurants cluster around the lower levels.

[She thinks]

I can't say I've ever cooked, myself. I take it you started as a human, then, and not a Froakie.

Aye, I did. But... you haven't cooked? How can that be?

I began my life...or afterlife, anyway, as a Honedge, not in this form. On the occasion I actually needed to eat, foraging was sufficient, and most of what I could manage without hands.

Truly? A Honedge? And then you learned to achieve this form?

[She nods.]

I'm still not quite certain what caused it, but one day I could take the shape of a human girl. I took it as an opportunity to journey here and learn what the humans of Union might know about the situation.
