Pantsu part 11: The Springening [Video | Action]
[The video opens up with a smiling hippie enlightened you may or may not know as Eiji Hino. Behind him there seems to be a little commotion, but nothing bad. Actually it looks like Eiji's group band of troublemakers are hard at work with cleaning! There are a few of Rei's pokemon, as well. How on earth did he get them all to listen and get along this much? It is a mystery.]
It looks like the weather is finally turning into spring. It seemed like the winter was awfully long this year, yeah?
[He looks a little sheepish and then ducks as Hina, the Fletchinder darts past with a bag of trash in her talons.]
Though, I guess I am dreading the summer heat myself, being an ice-type. I'm already missing the cool air. Still, I think it's nice to have a change. Ah... but I wonder what everyone else does to stay comfortable in seasons their typing disagrees with. [He looks thoughtful for a moment. His typing was a lot more obvious after his evolution, so he's never had to worry about this before.]
[His thoughts are immediately interrupted, though. There's a crash and the sound of an argument. Eiji turns his head. You can hear the huff in his voice as he finds the culprit. A very disgruntled Glaceon.]
Yumi! What did I say before? Whoever does the best job cleaning gets to choose where we go for the weekend. That means no fighting with the others!
[Erp! She hastily goes back to what she was doing. Ah, yes. That's what Eiji had to do. Bribe them. Eiji then turns back to the camera to offer an apologetic smile before he shuts the feed off.]
[Action for around the Shrine.]
[Anyone heading to the Hikawa Shrine that day would find the place busy to the nines with spring cleaning. When Eiji isn't up to his elbows with scrubbing the floors in the main area, he's constantly breaking up arguments with his various pokemon. They are all good pokemon but they are all of clashing personalities.]
[You may also find them all taking a break and enjoying some refreshments, so feel free to stop by then, as well!]

Action around the Shrine
no subject
[She's probably the one working the least and is honestly just trying to save face by working just enough. She doesn't really care where they go, she just wants to have fun, so this is a nice distraction. She floats over with a grin.]
Boo!
[You're not wrong! This is a Shrine!]
no subject
Li-ooon! Purrrrr-li? [~Oh, Creepy~! Where are you, my tasty little prey?~ The lilting yowls of a Purrloin came up the steps of the shrine, making the Caterpie freeze in total fear.]
no subject
[The Pumkaboo seems to be thinking on it for a nerve wracking couple of moments before nodding with a giggle.]
Okay! I'll help you!
[And then she ...vanishes. uh oh.]
no subject
Purrrrrrrr... [~There you are, my sweet little toy...~ The feline Pokemon licks her chops as she crouches in preparations for a pounce.]
[Creeper starts begging for her life, making several rambling promises - among the most important of them is to never ever scare any more people that hate bugs...
...but that's not enough for the Purrloin, who suddenly leaps towards the Caterpie, claws and fangs bared.]
CAAAAAAAAA!!! [The resulting shriek's probably loud enough to be heard throughout the closer half of the shrine.]
no subject
BOO!
no subject
[Creeper, meanwhile, simply faints upon realizing that he's not about to be bit or clawed at for the moment.]
no subject
[She giggles in a much less sinister way.]
no subject
Na~ta~shaaaa! [Aaaand here comes Right running up the steps, looking very Unhappy at the scene before him.] Cut...it...out!
[And with that, he does a mid-air roundhouse kick that doesn't connect anywhere close to Natasha...but it doesn't have to. The resulting Fairy Wind, however, does a fabulous job KO'ing Natasha the Purrloin.]
...gods... [Right collapses onto his knees, desperately trying to catch his breath.]
no subject
[She's mostly disappointed when the trainer interferes and she floats away to avoid getting caught in the attack.]
[Sigh.]
Pumpka ... Pumpkaboo.
[Was that all? Booooooooo.]
[Meanwhile her trainer seems to have overheard some of the commotions. Eiji glides his way over on his huge leathery wings and lands not far from everyone.]
Eclair? What's going on? Ah- [Who is this kid.]
no subject
[And then his eyes widen upon seeing the fainted Caterpie on the ground.] Oh, sh-- Creeper! [He stumbles over to his buggy friend and gently shakes him.] Creeper! Are you okay?!
no subject
[To which the pumpkaboo giggles and says she didn't do anything but help! Creeper was running for his life and she just helped scare away the purrloin! She didn't think he would faint.]
[Eiji gets the gist of that, which basically amounted to him sighing, shaking his head and then leaning over the pokemon.]
No trouble. I feel like I should be apologizing for whatever Eclair did. Here, let me--
[And he lifts one of his hands.]
I can heal pokemon.
no subject
On top of being passed out, Creeper does spot a few claw marks. They're a couple of days old, and obviously been healed up with a Potion, but they're still there as a testament to what the poor caterpillar Pokemon has been through the past few days.]
no subject
[He closes his eyes and concentrates. A soft glow illuminates from his hands for a few moments. Eclair floats around to peer over his shoulder as he works.]
[The glow vanishes after a few seconds and he opens his eyes. Creeper should, if nothing else, feel quite energized after that, but any other ailments should be gone.]
no subject
[Creeper's ranting, however, gets interrupted by Right picking him out and cuddling him in relief.] Creeper, you're okay! Oh, man, I'm so sorry, buddy.
[The poor bug Pokemon was so overjoyed and relieved to see her human that she starts bawling into his shoulder about several things: how wonderful it is to see Right again, how stupid he was for bringing someone like that demonic feline home, what a horror he's been through because of said demonic feline, how Right really needs to stop being so trusting of such horrible beings...]
no subject
[Eiji snickers a little at the disgruntled pumpkaboo before smiling at Right. That caterpie seemed a little bit like a dramaqueen.]
No harm done.
no subject
Creeper, be nice...they did help you, after all. [Right lightly bops the top of the Caterpie's head with a finger. He then grins up at Eiji with relief.] Thank you so much for helping her out, ah...
What's your name? Both of ya?
no subject
Eiji Hino. My friend here is Eclair. We both live here at the Shrine. It's nice to meet you, ah...?
no subject
P-Purr... [~owowowow...~ Natashi mewed painfully as she finally came to, tail twitching erratically.]
...and that's Natasha. She just joined us after she followed me home a few days ago.
no subject
[He glances down.]
You certainly have a handful.
[Eclair idly floats down to Natasha and grins wide.]
no subject
Purrrrrli. [~Snitching things aren't as fun as hunting prey, after all.~ Natasha hides her sulking by beginning to bathe herself.]
Cater... [~And I thought Yami was bad enough...~ Creeper grumbles beneath her breath.]
