[The feed starts off with a smiling face of a ginger some of you may remember. Honoka stands there for a moment looking into it before blinking, tapping it, and then realizing it's already recording.]

Oh! Hi there, my name is Honoka Kousaka! Some of you may remember me from before-- I went home to Caldera over the Salvation holiday, but now I'm back! Aaaand I have a very important question for all of you!!

[She sets her warp band down and spins away from it, balling her hands into fists and standing with her feet set apart and a broad smile on her face.]

Music is universal, so I wanted to ask the people of Union this-- and I'd love to know if you're from another city like I am, too! Love songs are generally written about people, but... What if you could write a love song about your favorite food? Everyone loves to eat-- my personal favorite food is bread! So, beloved citizens of Union, I ask you: Would you listen to a love song about bread?!

[Off on the side of a street, Honoka is sitting on the ground amidst a pile of building supplies. She doesn't really look like she has any kind of an idea of what she's doing, but she sure looks determined to be doing it. She's tapping together pieces of wood and other things with nails, and there's a big banner behind her that reads "Unionomura☆!" in her endearing sloppy penmanship. She hums a happy tune while she puts things together all sorts of not-well, and seems entirely undeterred by the fact that whatever it is she's trying to "build" has fallen apart three times.]

[Someone who knows how to build things, please please come tell her she's Doing It Wrong.]

[Right's looking at the Warp Band feed in surprise. He hadn't expected it to work this far outside of Union - those who are more traveled than he would recognize that he's currently at the Forest Shrine. But here he is, travel pack over his back, his spare arm holding a Lillipup wearing the cutest winter-weather outfit and face lighting up with joy upon the mentioning of food songs.]

Would I?! Of course, I would! I'm sure the others would like to hear it, too! Right, Wagon?

[The Lillipup nodded, tail wagging in agreement. ~Iyaan! It'll be intensely cute, I'm sure!~] Lipup!

[Oh my God what a cute Lillipup and her name is Wagon could that be cuter--]

[Wait did you just agree to listening to a song about food??]

[Honoka abruptly gets very close to the warp band.]

Yessss!! I knew people would agree! Thank you, -- [A pause.]

...oh, well I don't think I've met you! Hi!

Nope! Definitely not. I'm Right - Right Suzuki. This here's Wagon, and this little guy here-- [The feed shifts to show a somewhat curious Riolu standing next to Right.] --is Softy. [The Riolu frowns and proceeds to elbow Right's leg.] Ow! Sorry; Soft Steel.

Rio. [~Thank you. Anyway, pleasure to meet you.~ The Riolu nodded satisfactorily.

The camera shifts back up to Right, who was still grinning widely.] Normally, I'm busy with theater work, but I'm kinda switching troupes right now. Still, like Softy said, it's nice to meet you, Honoka! How are you enjoying your stay in Union?

Right! And Wagon, and Soft-- Steel. Soft Steel.

[She smiles broadly at all three of them, settling with her Warp Band to sit.]

You work for the theatre? That's so neat!! I'm enjoying Union quite a lot-- see, I'm from Caldera, and we interact with Pokemon a lot differently than everyone here does! People, too, really. So I had to come stay here for a while, just to get a taste of it.

Really? Do you guys really wrestle and fight with your Pokemon in order to bond with them? I heard about that from the refugees that came over last summer.

Piiiii! [~Ahhhhh! That sounds so scary!~ Came a whimpering coo from behind Right. If Honoka looks, she might be able to see the tail feathers of a Pidove peeking out from behind the guy's head.]

[She laughs.]

A lot of people do, yeah. It's like-- Caldera is really big on being strong and bold, and a lot of Calderans can't communicate with Pokemon like people here in Union can! So since they can't talk to them, they just do things the Calderan way and show off their muscles and stuff.

[She leans a little closer to the screen.]

Oh! Oh no, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!! I can talk to Pokemon myself, which is a really rare thing in Caldera! I promise I won't try to fight you.

...Pido? [~...Really? You really mean that?~ The tail feathers disappear for a moment, only to be replaced with a hesitantly curious Pidove poking his head around the left side of Right's head.]

It's okay, Usopp! Come say hello to Honoka! [Right's grin grew mischievous as he added.] Maybe you can show her how big and strong you are yourself.

[As if that flick on a switch in his head, the Pidove immediately hopped onto Right's shoulder, puffing himself up to look much bigger and menacing than he really is. ~Hahaha! Yes, I am the great winged warrior, Usopp! Champion against evil and defender of the Great Forest!~] Pi-pi! Dove pidove dove!

[Oh no what a cute Pokemon and a cute trainer everything is cute. Honoka brings her hands to her face and briefly hides behind them, acting frightened.]

Ohhh! You're so mighty, Usopp! I'll never be afraid if you're on our side!

Piii do-dove! [~Ha-haaa! Good, good! Then I will forever defend you from any evil predators.~ Just look at Usopp posing so proudly...]

Of course you will! [Right chuckles a bit at the preening Pidove. His own smile, though, is a bit brighter. For some reason, finding another young adult outside his small (and scattered) group of childhood friends who's willing to do a little play-pretend without any prompting from him or being part of theater work... It's a pleasant surprise.]

So, Honoka, do you got any songs for bread ready yet? I wouldn't mind hearing it.

[Man Honoka is all about that stuff, Right. You two are going to be best friends, legit.]

[She puts her hands on her cheeks and coos softly.]

You're so brave and kind, Usopp!!

[But back on topic--]

Ah, not yet! I was asking because one of our members said she'd write a song if I could get people to agree they'd listen to it. She doesn't believe in the positive powers of bread.

[Whatever Usopp was gonna say, it was definitely displaced by Right's outright gasp of shock.] What? How can anyone disbelieve the positive powers of food?!

I know!! She told me I have to get ten people to agree that they would listen to a love song about bread, or it's a no-go.

Well, I'm sure you can get that many people around here! Almost everyone likes some kind of bread, so it shouldn't be that hard, right?

I hope so.

I bet you can! I can even see it. [He taps the side of his head.] You getting nine more people.

Ooh! Are you a fortune-teller, Right?!

Wha--no, no! I'm no Psychic type! But sometimes, when I get an idea for what a potential solution is, I can see that solution in my head. All thanks to my Imagination.

[Help you are the cutest person possibly ever.]

That's still really cool!! Seeing a solution with your imagination... That sounds like an amazing power.

It is! Most people don't realize that they can do it because they lose a lot of their Imagination growing up. Thankfully, I'm not like most people.

That's great. Imagination is a terrible thing to lose, even if a lot of adults think it's silly or childish.

Tell me about it. Every time I tried to make things more fun in school during the last year or two, I keep getting told by the elders that I should be acting 'More mature' and 'more focused'. But most of the things they wanted to teach me were so boring...

Oh boo. Maturity and focus are things to have in the right situations, but you can't take the fun and spirit out of a person! It makes you lose your love of life.

I know, I know. But they keep saying that they was I want to have fun is childish and I should focus more on work.

...It's not like I don't mind learning about clothing design, but the guy teaching it was so dull about it...
