Rapid Decline
As the environmental anomalies continue, it isn't long before the Rangers of Union are monitoring the situation 24/7. And with the constant observation, it becomes quickly evident that things are rapidly worsening... Midway through the week, a disembodied voice once again comes over the Warp Band, still speaking in a carefully measured tone. Citizens are advised to take extreme precaution while traveling in the following areas, as several of the anomalies had now intensified to the point that they could result in serious injury or death:
Caldera: Unattended metal is now distorting severely, spontaneously warping into sharp edges and dangerous patterns.
The Forest Shrine: The trees have now overgrown the shrine entirely. Strange thorns are beginning to appear on all greenery in the area.
Desert: The rainfall has practically become a deluge by this point. It is difficult to see through the driving rain.
Flower Grove: Mushroom rings are everywhere, and stepping into them causes random teleportation, in addition to the nausea. The power of the Gracidea flowers to keep these effects at bay has lessened.
Mountain: The paradoxical duality continues to pervade the mountains, as waves of ice flow down one side of the mountain, and waves of molten lava on the other.
Old City: In addition to the voices, strange afterimages can now be seen underground. They appear to be of people moving around.
Ruins: The hazelike atmosphere has fully encompassed the ruins, and often, it seems to appear as if the ruins are... no longer ruins, but an intact structure. The illusion seems to be as of a desert.
Rolling Plains: The enormous swarms of Bugs are now harassing and attempting to carry off travelers.
Iron Mine: The magnetic power of the Iron Mines has become so intense that visitors are paralyzed. Ore and metal continues to float.
Ocean: Tidal waves are crashing onto the shore now. Even from a distance, large whirlpools can be seen forming all across the water.
((All areas affected have now increased their Danger Levels by 7. Rory and Crystal may be approached prior to this date; please use this log and note the date that your character is addressing them.
