Today was the day they'd all waited for, and it's early in the morning when Rei notices that the eggs Ophir had been watching over for the last week were starting to shake and rattle like a hatching was going to happen. The call went out a little later, inviting all the other girls over to watch. Food was set up, and she'd encouraged Eiji to make sure Ankh was elsewhere so that he wouldn't just show up and be...himself. The hatching is nigh!

[Minako was excited, but a little nervous, too. The only Pokemon in her group willing to go through with the egg thing had been Rico, which sort of didn't surprise her, but she was hoping that the hatched Pokemon wasn't going to be as bad as he was. She was still reeling from the idea that he was dropping off all these eggs...]

[hmmm.] You had an egg the first time we met, right?

[here's Michiru, quietly sipping tea and seemingly unperturbed by any of this.]

Oh, yes. [She smiled.] I had only just gotten it.

[She wiggled her fingers.] Eros. [The Sylveon bounded forward.] He's evolved now.

[Eros gets a smile from Michiru as well as ear scratches if he wants them.] Ah, you're a cute one.

[she pauses for a moment. Has she met this one before, or is it just her...?

Anyway, a smile at Minako.] You have plenty of experience with raising Pokemon now, I'm sure. [a Feebas might be different, however.]

I've gotten a few now, actually. Different kinds, different personalities. It's funny to see how much like people they can be.

[Like her lazy ones and her busy-body ones and all the crazy that ensues as a result.

Eros might look familiar... how good at telling Sylveons apart is she? Either way, he was gladly accepting those ear scratches. He loved attention.]
