Eren has been watching the battles with a frown on his face. Blitz is by his side, his egg in its carrier on his front, and Napoleon as well despite his enormous size ("If I can't fight in the tournament, I at least want to watch and learn some tips!"). It was all going... about as well as he expected. This man was overwhelmingly strong. Even Levi was having a hard time.

But it was the fight with Feliks that gets most of his attention.

"What the... what is that?!"

He stands up, squinting against the light. Blaziken is a third stage Pokémon! Eren knows that much. It can't evolve again! But... there it was. Changed. Different. And radiating heat and power. Eren feels his heart sink into his gut.

There's no way they can win.

Napoleon seems completely amazed, though, missing the implications of it completely. He lets out a loud roar, {THAT'S SO COOL!! Stupid bird!}, he says, addressing Eren, {Why can't YOU do that?! I want to go with those guys!}

{Quiet, Napoleon!! We have no idea what it is... or if it's dangerous. What if it hurts like the machine, huh?}

The memory of that pain seems to shut him up, but he's still watching the battle with rapt interest.
