The top of the outer wall is a pleasant place when it's warm. You get a nice breeze and a magnificent view that goes on for miles and miles of untainted wilderness, and all of Union laid out behind you. Unfortunately, it's January. It's miserably cold, with drifts of dirty, half melted snow dotting the top of the wall. One of the guard posts is currently "manned" by what appears to be a bright green Spheal. The ice type seems quite comfortable in the cold weather. More so than a human would be, for sure.

It's starting to look sleepy. Not good if it really is a guard, which it might be as it's at a guard post.

[Cold as it was, it wasn't the worst day to be out and about. At least in Flynn's opinion. He spots the Spheal that looks about ready to roll over and sleep. Walking over, he bends down a little and taps it on the head twice.]

I think I saw some spearows flying around way in the distance earlier.

Well, Fran and I were going to go and wander the forest for a bit after our shift...
