[Alright, he stretches and looks around for a suitably safe target (he doesn't want to hit anyone or anything accidentally, okay)-- and chooses a small pile of earth in the direction facing away from you. He takes a deep breath, holds his hands before him and concentrates - there's the familiar crackling in the air, and there's light forming between his fingers - and then he quickly draws his arm back and thrusts forward again, sending the ball of lightning flying forward. It takes almost less than a second for it to reach the pile of earth and dissipate into it, sending some of the debris flying away. He looks back at you and grins]

See? I know it doesn't look too impressive, but that depends on what you hit. I can make a straight lightning too, but this is more fun.
