The moths scatter with the combined forces of the Shadow Ball, Dragon Rage, and Flamethrower attacks, skittering and crying out in the air as their wings scattered dust around in their panic. They fled in an ambling retreat, giving Sinbad and his pokemon time to recover from their wounds.

On Veronica's side, the creature screeched in rage at the fire attack, as if to Veronica's own taunt of the creature having 'some nerve.' Answering the fire-typed attack in kind, the creature bounded off of the Ember attack and cloaked it's body in the flickering flames before commencing with a Flame Charge at it's attacker.
