Oh, crap, that was not the right move to make at this particular juncture. He drops the attack as the towering beast begins swinging its arms and smashing the chamber apart. He winces when he hears the god's voice booming through his head and glances downward at the screams from below.

"Defendarius!" His hand thrusts forward again and a barrier of telekinetic power springs to life in time to intercept a few pieces of heavy debris from crashing into their place on the catwalk. The wizard grunts, grits his teeth and holds the shield in place and yells back over his shoulder. "Lash!"

His Gardevoir arches an eyebrow and looks downward with a look of open disdain on her features. Flippantly, she raises a hand and sends her own Psychic downward to assist Haruka's Reuniclus in protecting the soldiers though she's clearly not putting much enthusiasm toward it.
