[He's trying to heed Sinbad's warning, he really is. And he does manage to get out of the way of the Freeze attack...]
[And then a god just falls at him.]
[Far above, Huzar is in a state of outright panic, but she's being bombarded by the hail, and can't manage to do much more than shout and try (without much success) to dodge the ice pelting her from the sky. Mieszko is still struggling to stand, whinnying in frustration and barely-controlled fear -- one of his forelegs seems like he's having trouble putting weight on it, and the wind's been knocked out of him pretty hard. Jadwiga, sensing Feliks's burst of pain and panic but unable to see where he is, unable to get a clear shot at using Heal Pulse on him, takes a leaf from her trainer's book, channels her worry into fury like a mother Beartic's; she takes aim at the weakest point she can see on Kyurem, and pushes all the power she possibly can into her Moonblast attack.]
[Feliks sees his life flash before his eyes, he honestly does. He sees his family, sees Fai surrounded by his Pokemon on a picnic blanket in the Flourites' garden, smiling at him like he's the most incredible thing he's ever seen, sees Yuuna and Waver and Pamela and all of the other friends he's made, sees all the incredible places he's been in these last years, sees Death's cold blue eyes and great red wings...]
[Not today.]
[When Feliks opens his eyes, he's on the ground. He can see smoke, broken buildings, a little bit of the night sky to his left, and nothing but Kyurem to his right. He's winded, bruised, breathing -- but his right arm is pinned down. His shoulder feels out of joint, his arm is almost certainly broken with all that weight on it.]
[And if Kyurem rolls in his direction, he's going to have a lot worse to worry about than that. He needs to get out, but can't if Kyurem doesn't lift up for a moment...]
[Well. Time to see how the bastard likes Inferno when Feliks is right there, pinned to it, both hands pressed directly to that icy hide as he channels all the fire he can manage outward through them.]
