does anybody know anything about homunculi?

i don't know a lot, but they're like magical constructs made out of living things? like i said, i'm not the research type, so i only got the gist of it.

[ or rather, he read the Moon Man's notes and it was the most useless summary it could have possibly been, because apparently his life sucks and the world hates him. what kind of crappy mage doesn't keep a whole library of books about their work, anyway? ]

Where did you hear this? That doesn't sound like anything from Union. It doesn't sound like anything from any of the civilizations I know of, in fact.

I am the research type, and I can say with utmost confidence that I've never heard of such a thing, which is interesting. Is there some way we could arrange to meet, maybe? You can tell me what you know, and I'll see what I can find.

... no? uh, i'm kind of new to the city and also not entirely sure what the seekers are.

oh, the seekers are an organization! they travel around and look for artifacts and old ruins and they gather all sorts of information they come across. we've got a few of them here, but i hear they're in other cities as well.

huh. well, i heard about the homunculus thing from sanctuary, but i could at least see if the seekers have found anything.

a lot of people just went to sanctuary recently. since they've all come back by now, your timing couldn't be better.

yeah, i knew something had gone down. still not entirely sure what happened, but i figured maybe some people smarter than me might have picked up on some info while they were there.

thanks for the welcome. i'm kind of a wanderer, so i dunno how long i'll be around. i'll try to take in the sights while i'm here!

all i know is that the people from sanctuary asked for our help as well as caldera's to kick gigas out of the city. i'm not really the fighting kind, so i didn't go.

if you need any recommendations, i've lived here all my life! so i might be able to point you somewhere.

Is that so? Yet, you seek the information those books and notes can offer. That is a bit unfair, then, to call those who are not only willing, but enjoy the act of such things "boring."

but that's just the thing! those people find books fun, so they can do the thing that's totally boring to me, and then let me know how it goes. everybody wins, right?

listen, i'd read the books if i knew for sure they had what i'm looking for. if somebody pointed me to a book titled HOMUNCULI: LITERALLY EVERYTHING TO KNOW ABOUT THEM i'd be right there! but going through 100 of them just to find one tiny scrap of info might actually kill me from boredom.

But a better question, is what is it, exactly, you wish to know about the homunculi?

um... everything? i really only know the basics, and what i WANT to know is every single thing that's ever been written about them.

I'm afraid, at the moment, such information is classified, what information there is. The council is who you want to speak to about such things.

Our information can only come from what is gathered at Sanctuary and there aren't many mages volunteering.
