Using a bit of technology from our current Pokéballs, as well as what Team Evolution could glean from Union's Warp Bands, they are a means simply of transportation. They do not bind a Pokémon to them, and have been crafted with practicality and ease of use. I have also gone to great lengths to make sure that they are comfortable for the Pokémon housed inside, as well as the user. They fit quite comfortably in the hand, despite being larger than the original model, and have excellent velocity when thrown.

Even given time constraints, I believe that they are quite superb.
