[Merrill watches the entire thing, a single tear rolling down her cheek by the time it's all over.]

Ir abelas, ma vhenan.

[Slipping into Dalish as she often does during serious moments, Merrill places a hand over her heart as she bows her head respectfully toward the Aegislash. It means 'I am filled with sorrow for your loss,' and that sort of empathy is exactly what she's projecting using her powers.]

It's not much, and it won't change what happened, but... I'd like to sing for you. It's an old Dalish hymn used to mourn the dead. Much like your memories of what happened here, it's one of the few things my people still have left.

[Taking a breath, Merrill begins to sing, her voice echoing throughout the empty chamber.]

hahren na melana sahlin
emma ir abelas
souver'inan isala hamin
vhenan him dor'felas
in uthenera na revas

vir sulahn'nehn
vir dirthera
vir samahl la numin
vir lath sa'vunin

[It may be incomprehensible to everyone in here but her - possibly Yuuna can pick out a word or two she's taught her; sorrow, freedom, joy - but the respectful sorrow in Merrill's voice is unmistakable. She keeps her head bowed the entire time, eyes closed until the last note finishes echoing and dissipates into the air around them, and then she simply looks back at the Aegislash and the other gathered ghosts.]
