[ Frankly, not much pierced her skin - some did, and there's blood to show for it, but every since her (first) evolution the majority of Melaka's skin is a thin layer with tight muscles bound over most of her body, making it tougher. And more importantly for her hands specifically, her hands are "wrapped" with a leathery, natural fingerless glove made of her own skin, the sort you might have seen on say a Hitmonchan or some other fighting types.
So other than some particularly big pieces, nothing pieced the palm or the wrists. No, there's just some smaller pieces in the tips of her fingers by now which are the bigger issue.
