[ Just outside the theater gates, a Ninetales sits, any drifting snow melted around her person. Her luxurious tails fan out behind her, not even twitching. Her elegant snout is lifted into the air. Her garnet eyes watch the passers-by inscrutably.
Except when any of the visiting Delibird happen to bumble by, packs slung across their backs as always. Those, her gaze tracks. Soon. Soon.
She has been waiting in this spot since the Salvation season began, but tribute to her perfection has yet to appear. ]
[ action - rhyhorn racetrack ]
[ There's a crowd near the Rhyhorn racing arena today, ranging in profession from construction workers all the way up to a few nobles. With communication technology becoming ever more integrated, it's easy to spread the word that Haruka Tenoh has returned to the arena at last!
...it's not to race, however. Or to serve as the spokesman for an event like she did last year. Instead, she's stopped by during training hours to socialize an undersized Rhyhorn. A few of the larger racers sniff the tiny rock, but Super Beauty!, purebred daughter of racing champion World Shaking, is not here to make friends. She is here on a special treat: to run.
And run she does! Haruka supervises from behind, riding World Shaking the Rhyperior himself (and grinning at anyone who comes over to ask what happened to him - Rhydon's evolution is news to the racing community.) Since she hasn't grown to fit the regulation minimum size, Super Beauty is barred from competitions proper. Yet she's tackling that track with aplomb.
A third member of the Rhyhorn line, a pale red Rhyhorn with glitter seeming to sparkle on its hide, sits in the grassy field in the middle of the track and tilts her horn up towards the sun. She isn't one for racing. But it's nice to just sit and enjoy the outdoors.
She doesn't even blink when Super Beauty takes a mighty leap and - splot! - clears a small running creek with room to spare. ]
