[ Maki isn't sure how things got like this. She should have probably thought to get some advice before her egg started hatching, but now it's too late, she's currently at home, in her large garden/greenhouse, which looks to be well maintained and expensive, with her mansion as a backdrop behind her. On a small patch of grass is Maki's egg, the one she got as a gift, shaking slightly in front of her. ]

D-Does anyone know what to do with an egg when it's hatching? S-Should I help it out? What if I don't know what kind of Pokemon it is?

[ So she's freaking out just a little. She's nervously pulling on her hair, twirling it around her finger, making little concentration noises as she watches the egg shake a little more. She's never had a Pokemon at all before, this is her first, so she's not sure she's ready for one. ]

Should I have some food ready? Maybe a towel or something? What about-- Kyaah!

[ While she's trying to think something pokes through the shell, something that looks like a beak, and it knocks Maki over onto her butt on the grass, while letting out an adorable, startled cry. At the same time her Warp Band seems to shut off, as she scrambles to check on her egg. ]


Action:

[ Maki's got a new Fletchling on her hands, and isn't quite sure what to do about it. Come find her making a ruckus in her backyard, chasing after a little bird who doesn't want to sit still, or trying to talk it down out of a tree. It's going to be a long tiring day for her. ]
