Ker-Chak!
Bang!
Ker-Chak!
Bang!
Ker-Chak!
Bang!
Ker-Chak!
[Banzu glances over at Facet the Carbink, hiding behind a nearby tree while he shoots targets with his newly-finished shotgun. Facet had been hiding since almost the moment Banzu had first started shooting, and his best guess as to why was because the shotgun applied the Steel type to its ammunition and Carbink were Rock/Fairy with a double weakness to Steel.
He looks back towards the target.]
Ain't gonna shoot you, Facet.
Bang!
[Distracted by his conversation, Banzu loses his place in his shooting pattern and fails to release the trigger as he pumps the shotgun.]
Don't gotta hi-Bang!
[Banzu learned Slamfire!
Banzu was knocked over by unexpected recoil!]
Ow.
[Banzu gets up, waving Spur-Mesh the Klink away before rubbing where the gun's stock hit him and wondering if that's what that "trigger disconnector" was supposed to prevent. It hadn't seemed necessary from the rest of what he'd read, but it seemed that the books might have skimmed by it. He would need to be more careful in the future. Still, even after only a few hours of practice he was consistently hitting the targets. Not the same spot on the targets, but he's at least hitting them.
As he picks up his spent brass, he hears a sound. Several sounds, actually. Several rather angry sounds. He looks up.
Whoa! A horde of Pokémon who are sick of all the noise Banzu's been making has appeared!
The shotgun comes up right away and he pulls the trigger.
Shotgun - PP 0/5
Banzu runs, frantically trying to reload while moving. Spur-Mesh and Facet follow him, Spur-Mesh firing off Thunder Shocks and Facet using Rock Throw.]
Shiiiiiit!
