Open Log // Haunted Ruins

Who: Haruka, Michiru, and YOU
What: DDF field trip to the newly-discovered ruins. Spoopy ensues.
When: Week 39
Where: Coastal Ruins
Summary: God hunting comes with quite a few hazards. Being haunted is one of them.

[ Something is following them.

Haruka's had that feeling ever since she and Michiru entered the ruins, and it's only grown stronger with time. Even her Eevee is taking great pains to be extra-silent as he pads along, though Haruka has a hunch he's trying to impress his new "babysitter", Bundled Hearts the Spritzee. Whatever. It suits Haruka's goals, and that's all she needs.

If only the rest of the day was going as planned! These ruins haven't taught her anything useful thus far, but there's still this ominous sense of something - waiting. Something watching.

Haruka smirks. Her neck's prickling as if there's something behind her, but she won't turn. Not yet. Not until she's sure she can take - whatever it is - by surprise. ] Maybe we should have brought a housewarming gift.

[ Watch it be another explorer. That'll make her feel silly. ]

[huh. A place like this would be heaven for Litwick, wouldn't it? Unless that Litwick has a very good reason for not munching on the energy and/or soul of that ghost.

Michiru keeps half an eye on the goings on, but she's not about to let them get snuck up on.]

[The little pokemon hops out, making its way to the girl, speaking to get it's attention-] Lit. Litwick.

[To which, the girl only bows, and turns, following the ghost pokemon as it leads it back behind the casket, slowly starting to disappear as they go. Goku doesn't speak up, watching them leave, wondering what that was all about...]

[ Haruka watches too. She's curious, but not curious enough to ask.

Some tragedies are better not spoken of again. And if whatever befell this city isn't related to the gods, then she's happy to let the remnants rest in peace.

She bows her head. It seems only appropriate after barging in. They'll give whatever happened here a moment of silence before they go. ]

I guess that might of been what they were guarding. [He doesn't know, but he makes obvious statements like that.]

I guess we should go before we make anyone else mad.

[ Haruka chuckles. ] We can't have that.

[ All right, team. Let's regroup and return to Union.
