[Audio / Action] Probably backdated but pretend it's whenever's convenient

[Audio]

I met a Pokémon when I was at the canyon a few days ago and he agreed to come back to Union with me. I've never seen his kind of Pokémon before. His cry sounds like "Hippopotas" and I think he's either Ground- or Rock-type; he really didn't like any of the Grass-type attacks that the Pokémon in the forest were using and he can make a sandstorm. Do any researchers or anyone else want to meet him? [A bit more serious tone of voice: ] No poking or testing him.

[Unrelated Action: Forest Shrine]

[Apollo's come out to the Forest Shrine, partly to look around the area again but mostly to get a better feel for Hippopotas. Other people might assume he's going to train Hippopotas in fighting or something similar, but that's not the case; he's not one for training. Instead Apollo's out here to pay attention to how Hippopotas moves, acts, and fights, so that he'll know what he can rely on Hippopotas to help him with if the need arises. So far he's feeling like Hippopotas is best at brute force, but while the sandstorm he creates is useful for driving off attackers, it also drives off himself and Fletchling, and Apollo isn't interested in leaving one of his friends to do all of the fighting themselves. Hippopotas also seems very eager for praise, and Apollo doesn't want to manipulate him into doing things that he doesn't really want to do.

For the moment, Apollo, Fletchling, and Hippopotas have stopped to rest in the shrine's clearing, sitting or lying on a fallen limb near the edge.]
