[Today's video comes live from Kanji's workroom at home. Perhaps not the most exciting of environments, but it works for him. Rolls of cloth, various resources, crystals, half-finished projects that he's been working on - busy young craftsman, it seems.]

Hey. So I've been visitin' Caldera a bunch lately. Lookin' at some'f the stuff they do over there. An' comparing it t' some'a the stuff I've been working on around here... heh. I've gotta lotta work to do.

Got me thinkin', though. This one kinda goes out to any Engineers watching... What's the most complex thing you've worked on Enhancing? I was thinking 'a doin' some Enhanced clothes for my guys, but I ain't had any luck finding out the best ways t' do it. Everything I've looked into has really been things like armour and weapons, you know? I've been doin' a bit'f metalwork, but it ain't really my thing.

So... has anyone done anything like that before? Got any tips?

I usually work with metal or wood myself, so clothes aren't something I'm familiar with but in theory it SHOULD be possible.

That's what I thought. Doesn't seem like it oughta be that different, does it? I've seen a coupla things, those silk scarves 'n all, but having trouble, uh, making that into something more general.

I guess the rough part is getting the elemental power into the fabric without damaging it. Like, say you want to get a fire vest, you'd have to use the flame crystals right? You might need to grind them into powder and weave them into the fabric.

Yeah. That'd make sense. But if I do that, it'd be as likely t' just rub outta the fabric... huh.

I don't see why clothing would be impossible. I enhanced shoes, once, but it's not what I work with normally.

Wood and metal are easier. Weapons are by far the easiest to work with, in my experience. I suppose you could try starting up small. Using some sort of component that looks decorative in a pair of gloves, perhaps, and the go from there.

Huh. I actually worked on a pair'a knuckles a while back, but that's still a bit bulky t' attach into gloves... I get what ya mean, though. Work with the easy stuff 'n then work it into the actual garment?

Enhanced clothing... for Pokemon? [Bertholdt would usually keep to himself but-- It's Roxie, his Scragy. She's been hounding him for a hoodie. Every time Bertholdt tires to tell her just to wait, all of her training will pay off when she evolves and she'll finally have a "hoodie" it fails. The Scragy wants one now!

This could be an opportunity to learn..]

Pokémon, people, either really. Given how much'a this stuff I do anyway, I figure it might be worth gettin' something out of it that's more than just lookin' good.

It's more a hobby than anythin' else, but yeah. - Hey, come here, would ya?
