What: Brave New World had it's beach episode. It's time for the first hot springs episode in this game to celebrate it's discovery!
Where: Scorched Forest - Hot Springs
When: Week 18 Weekend | Early Afternoon to the Evening
Warnings: Potential nudity and fights if someone get caught peeping. Let's try to keep it PG-13 in here.


[With the recent discovery of the hot springs, a group of citizens in Union decided to come together to set up an open event for everyone in the city who wishes to not only to check out and explore the springs, but to relax from the everyday life in Union. It is open to the general public so everyone is welcome!

The party area is obviously set up with decorations and other party requirements plus mostly cleared of any wild Pokémon. However, wild Pokémon are still wandering around so expect a Slakoth to swim with you or an Aipom steal food while you are not paying attention. There are cloth walls set up for more private areas and tents are available for changing into bathing suits, towels, or just go naked. It's recommended that you do wear something, but nobody is going to stop you if you go commando.

It's certainly warm to hot in this area for obvious reasons, but it shouldn't be too uncomfortable unless you have a Fire weakness. No matter where you are, the springs are giving off a relaxing air. So please, enjoy yourselves.]

Not this Floette, no sir. She will be fabulous, even if she has to brave boiling water to do it.

... she's hovering above the water for now, though. She's not sure how to keep her flower safe if she soaks. At least the steam's helping?]

[ ....that's a funny Pokémon to see around a hot spring. You'd think they'd go somewhere with a bit more vegetation...

Or is this the one Haruka knows? She shifts to get a better look. Yep, that's Sewaddle's friend. ] If you're looking for the bug, he's guarding the theater.

[ Cubchoo will look up, however. Oh, you - you have a flower. And are dainty. And ladylike. That doesn't make her feel inferior, n-not at all... She's only hiding behind her Trainer because she's not good with strangers! ] Cub.

[ Haruka brightens. This week has mostly been dedicated to training thus far, and she's pleased by the results. ] She's a fighter. I've almost had to watch myse--

[ That sure was a very loud sneeze from somecub who had pointedly told herself she wasn't going to be so unsightly. And that sure was a second. Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no.

Cubchoo hops back in the water to cling to Haruka, putting her Trainer between herself and Waltz. Sh-she embarrassed herself! Support her! ]

You'd better get out.

[ And here's Haruka, standing all the way up, water sloshing as she moves towards Chie to help guide the other girl out of the hot springs. Turns out she was wearing a towel. Who knew? ] I brought extra towels. You can lie down and recover there.

Yeah... maybe I should.

[Chie sighs, standing up and stepping out of the spring.]

I'm sorry, I didn't know.

[Because even though she's got a towel on, at this point it's easy enough to tell.]

I feel like an idiot.

[Oh! It's Sewaddle's trainer. She'll give a little wave.

And no, she's here to enjoy the hot spring! Here, she'll scoop a bit of water and splash it over her face.

... and that's when she noticed Chubchoo. Aren't you even more uncomfortable than her in the heat?]

[ As promised, Haruka brings Chie a towel and spreads another one out in case the girl wants to lie down. ] No worries. Nobody really did till recently.

[ Or were you not talking about safe hot springs procedures? ]

[Yeah... she's just gonna do that for a sec. Cool down a little. It won't take her long, being half Ice type.]

Well, at least it wasn't just me...

Can I get you anything to drink?

[ Apparently she really did come prepared (more like she brought along an Ice-type herself, which does wonders for packing beverages). Such a gentleman - oh, wait.

Cubchoo comes trotting up as well, having discreetly shaken herself off where no one could see her. Why is her Trainer tending to a human? ] Cub?

Just some water, I guess.

[Chie turns her head to the side, smiling a little.]

Hey there, little guy.

[ Far be it from Cubchoo to admit such weakness! Though her nose may run more than usual, and a flush may show itself beneath her fur, her Trainer wanted her to practice withstanding heat! It's also good for her sinuses. And she, a fine lady (...in training, anyway), could hardly be expected to let her Trainer down!

Or so she would say if she weren't so nervous. Floette is small, however. That helps. And splashing water, which is unseemly. There is nothing to be frightened of! Her nose goes in the air. ] Cubchoo.

[ Haruka just laughs and nudges the bear. ] She's just shy. Go make friends.

[ Sh-she's being addressed! This nervous jump might have gone unnoticed if Cubchoo didn't basically have a pendulum hanging from her nose at all times. Oops. ] Ch-choo.

[ She attempts a little curtsy while Haruka returns with the water, at which point she goes to hide behind her Trainer. Haruka, meanwhile, offers Chie the cup. ] Drink slowly. We can't have you getting a headache, too.

[Michiru blinks at the sudden reappearance of Cubchoo...and then gives Waltz a sidelong glance. The Psychic type is pointedly ignoring the bear and goes to sit at the edge right next to her Trainer.]

Can't you play nice?

[Waltz 'hmphs' prettily and turns away. She was only stating the truth.]

[ On Haruka's end, this sigh is somewhere between fondness and exasperation. She looks down at Cubchoo not unkindly, then closes her eyes. ] Hiding means she won, y'know.

Cub. [ Cubchoo's ears droop, and she clings to Haruka's arm. But....but....Getting out is going to be hard now, too.

What would the humans do? ]

[Michiru suppresses a small smile, though Waltz smirks at Haruka's words.]

The value of a victory depends on the opponent, Waltz.

[Waltz wilts a little at that - wait. No. Her Trainer is saying... Alright, should she be feeling bad for picking on a weak opponent or should she keep on smirking because her Trainer doesn't seem to think that highly of the bear?]
