Hi everyone!

So, Quinn, Jinxie and I found something in the Verdant forest while we were checking out the signal disturban--

[What is that a leaf waving in front of the feed?]

Rowan, cut it out, I'm trying to talk!

[Is that a leafy face pushing itself into the feed? It lets out a cute "Eeee~?" (Whatcha you doin =O) before Lux picks it up.]

Really, now, cut that out! Just a minute!

[She sighs as if she's really put upon. If you weren't so cute...]

Anyway, we found a strange rock that was interfering with the signal. Rowan here says that they worship it because it helps them evolve. It looks relatively unremarkable, but I'm curious if it has the same effect on other pokemon!

[Wow Lux this is boring Rowan's bored play with me wait I'm gonna crawl all over you now. Yay best jungle gym ever! You know, despite the fact that he's super heavy. The blond tries to keep her cool until a Liepard very calmly steps over and grabs the Leafeon by the scruff and canters off.]

Anyway, I'd love to figure out what they evolved from, and what other effects this rock might have. From what Rowan told me, just coming close to it caused him and his brothers to evolve. And that... they were brown, which doesn't narrow it down too much. Any ideas?

Mmmm, it's a bit hidden, northeast of here. I could probably find it again if I were go to back, or you could ask Quinn. She's a ranger, so she could probably get back there pretty easily.

Of course I can. If you're bonded with with a Pokemon, the warp band helps you understand them.

And what an interesting discovery you and your friends made! I'm not so sure what Pokémon he could have been before... It must be something similar to his current form.

That's what I thought as well, but I've poured over all the books here and haven't found a thing. [Sigh.] I'm not sure where to start, it's nothing like any of the other species we've observed in the Verdant Forest.

It was. From what I understand, it wasn't the only thing making it wig out, either.

A rock that causes pokemon to evolve? I can't say I have any idea beyond that it might contain leaf stones, but that seems too simple of an answer.

I had thought that, but I'm not sure if it has the same properties. If that were the case, wouldn't normal evolutionary stones interfere the signal?

Y'know, I've been wondering recently, do we know any Enlightened who evolve with stones or rocks like this, not just by training?

Wow that's... certainly something. And your Rowan is quite a beauty, if a bit energetic. But then, you should be used to that, shouldn't you?

Is there anything about the rock that makes it look a bit different from any other rock?

He is a handful, but he's too cute to get mad at.

Not really. It was in a large clearing, and covered with moss, but other than that, I didn't notice anything different about it.

[There's a long pause before he clicks in; because the first impulse was the ask about the rock, which he likely will within five minutes; duty and all. To start with though, there's a clearing of a throat.]

Lux, you look well.

[A fabulous greeting to allow him to get back into the swing of socializing again with more than his Pokémon. And he has a similar problem too as the eye of his Honedge starts to drift into sight behind his back before he absentmindedly pushes it aside without looking; a habit by now.]

As interesting as the discovery of new Pokemon is, I hope we have an idea of how to eliminate the interference.
